Thanks for the tut, very helpful. I found the easiest & less damaging way to get the spring bar over the plastic clip is to use both needle nose pliers & flat bladed screwdriver. Use the screwdriver to lift the spring bar & then you can grip it with the pliers & pull it off the plastic clip. Your tip for mounting it back on was gold!
Quick tip, open the arm rest when removing the spring to release the pressure and you won’t crack the clip as shown in the video😂

Hello, for my 2 series grand tourer i have broke the central armrest hook, I found the spare part of the hook only, but how do you replace it, I can't figure out how to remove the upper piece. Thank 😮
Hi! i have the original leather one and mine is haunted with creaks even when my arm is not on it. In your opinion silicone spraying the joints at the back of it could be helpful? Thanks
Hi Doc, how can I change my rear Armrest to one with Cup Holders, on a 2011 3 Series Touring? Mine has the black leather but no cup holders, which is an issue for my kids 😩
Looks like youve tried to use pliers yourself as some of the plastics broke😂

No the plastics is a minor ting. That wasn’t the pliers that done it, it was actually the spring but all functional and works perfectly. All this was done months and months ago, not just today as many seem to think as there only watching now. It’s so old it’s boring 🙄
