I have the exact same muffler on my 2017. I installed the M Performance power kit last year and that with the muffler sound insane good with you switch to sport mode

Doesn’t the right exhaust tip have a spot where to plug in the connector? I just got one today and it already has that built in. Wondering if I could use that instead of buying the dummy flap actuator?

@@iconicars3050 I know it’s not valved, I’m saying there is a spot on the right exhaust tip where you can plug the connector, I can send you a picture of the ones from the second hand exhaust kit I got if you’d like to see

@@ismailbouabdillah6755 negative. You’re talking about the m sport muffler that has that spot in the right exhaust tip. M performance muffler is not the same as m sport.

@@iconicars3050 I might have a different set of exhaust tips (probably P/N 18302349212 instead of 18302349679). I hope they will fit with the M sport style bumper 🤞🏽cuz my car is M sport. Will find out on Monday when I’ll get the MPE installed.

Would the Stock M sport muffler tips fit the M Performance muffler? Even if you have to cut and weld

@@brianpham70 yes, the m perf muffler doesn’t have the valve. Comes with a plug for the connector too.

Where may I buy the same muffler? BMW will only sell the entire system. Thanks

There is no entire system, the rest of the exhaust is the same as non m performance. I bought the muffler directly from bmw. Was around 1500$ with the tips.

If you have the valve on your passenger side then it’s not mpe. Mpe is extra optional item you have to buy separately

@iconiccars can you send me a link to where to purchase or party number? And does this allow smoke from both sides of exhaust? I already have the chrome tips as well

@@movesmartly8931 try to do it and you’ll find out 🤣. Your tips arent clamped to your muffler, its all one piece and also you have a valve. M perf muffler is valve less. You can prolly cut off your tips and weld it, but it’ll be crooked.

Whats the bypass part # for the valve actuator?
