As pros for Harman Kardon (S688A) The first one - price. In case if you need to improve the sound (Stereo of HI-FI) it's definitely one of the best options. Anyway we have great sound with surround functionality. But for me was not enough clearness and loudness at the high volume level. And I decided to change sound system for B&O. There is more powerful amplifier and definitely better sound. I can't say that Harman was awful. But just because BMW decided to give B&O company more possibilities to implement more premium sound that's why we have something like that. In Harman 9 channels, in B&O - 16. 800 Wt vs 1300 Wt. There is no chance for B&O to have not amazing sound. And in B&O we have more high frequences and bass. Much more than in Harman. But the price is much more than in Harman Kardon. Anyway I relized that we have possibility just add B&O amplifier and 14 speakers (without center dashboard one). And it will be cheaper. Biggest price of the B&O retrofit budget is trims, covers and central speaker. It's one of the possible option. No great design but much better and powerful sound.

Does b&o come with BMW’s or its retrofitted?

It was an option for BMW F Series. In G series was Bowers&Willkins. But if you question about my car? Yes, I retrofitted it but as OEM

Harman Kardon is definitely great sound for its price. But unfortunately video recorded using smartphone can't give full experience of listening this both systems. I can say that B&O much better and we can hear it if you like to listen music very loud. If user doesn't like the loud sound he don't need B&O. H/K will be good enoght. But when we try to increse the volume the H/K we can't get full spectrum of the music and a lot of sequences loosing with it. It would be great to find the car with B&O and try to get full experience in the car.
