Hello mate, I have a question? Will this work for my car that only has the Bluetooth for calls ? Its the standard CIC for a f30 from 2012.

how did you know what target to select f020..? also for the installs, specifically the psdzdata do we just unzip it and leave it in any folder? how does esys know to use it? there was no clear installation configuration path. if someone can clarify these questions.

Cheers for the walkthrough. It gave me the confidence to do this in my 2014 F11 with HU_CHAMP2 & CMB_MEDIA and I'm thrilled to say it went without a hitch! I coded 6NL as I have the SOS button above my rear view mirror. I was pretty anxious doing it but the steps are clear enough, especially once I watched this video. The only gotcha that I came across was after reading FA it said to click 'Edit' but the button was greyed out for me. You have to save the FA after reading it, then you can edit it. For anyone else wanting to confirm if they have a combox, in my F11 it's on the left-hand side of the boot behind the removeable cover.

Please I need your help, if there is a way to run it, I can’t imagine me on that car without Bluetooth. And the car also have Navigation system. The previous was only a partial answer. If your car is 2014 later and has nav the combo box is integrated into the head unit. You should have a tcb in trunk instead

I started coding my 320Ii tonight and now I've run into a huge problem. Since applying the code I have lost bluetooth functions and options in the menu. I have tried to revert my changes but I am unable to code HU_ENTRY as it is now greyed out. Any and all assistance would be very much appreciated to an admitted Novice (at best).

Download Bimmercode and get the Pro version, then you need to purchase any of the compatible OBD adapters listen in the app. I used an OBDLink MX, it's very good. Make sure to update the OBD's firmware.

@@ghostl337 hi, sorry to bother you but what setting did you change with bimmer code? I enabled the bt source inside the audio source menu but when i pair the phone it only requires the permissions for phone and contacts, so even if i got the new menu i still can use it only as before

@@olivierorossi4141 First make sure your F30 supports enhanced BT. Once you find if it does then you will need to go into Expert Mode in two menus. In HEADUNIT Menu...go into Expert mode then 3003_Telefon_Telematik_Online Turn these to "Aktiv" : CDMM_Bluetooth_Audio CDMM_BT_DATABASE AUDIO_PLAYER_ON_OFF BT_MODUL_ON_OFF A2DP_PROFILE In COMIBOX Menu....go into Expert mode then 3004_Bluetooth_Parameter and turn this to "Aktiv" : A2DP_AVRCP_EIN_AUS

Pro tip: Set HU_NBT > MICROPHONE_NUMBER > Werte_1 (Single) After you change over to EBT. It’ll clear the open circuit error for the non-existent 2nd microphone. ;)

YES, your vehicle should have COMBOX if your HU is CIC. If your Combox with Telematics (BMW Assist) you code to 6NL, if Combox without Telematics you code to 6NK.

when you click "Read SVT" it will decode your FA list and check if combox (CMB_MEDIA) module is available. Alternatively you can take a look in your trunk - i believe in F30 should be under floor mat in the trunk, but don't quote me on that one ;)

then sadly you cant do this. another option is retrofitting a NBT or just use aux cable
