You’re a legend for posting this. After watching I dropped the roof lining and this was the fault I had. When the roof was closing the micro switch on one side had seized causing it not to lock into place. I tried wd-40 and a different spring but to no avail. I replaced it with the oe from main dealer. It was £65 (thought it would be more) it was quite fiddly but replaced it with just undoing the bolts which it’s fixed to, to drop it down enough to get to the screws. Thanks again 👍

Mine is stuck in my trunk and either say’s trunk partration or hardtop not locked, i cannot open the trunk or put the hood up. What do I do?

I have the same exact issue and have narrowed it down to that same control disk not stringing the catch hooks locked microswitch that you clearly show. What method did you use to get the disk unstuck? I am afraid to damage it

I added more tension to the spring and added WD40

the spring on the microswitch? The control disc with the teeth on it that strike the microswitch isn’t completing its full cycle on my top. It stops before it actuates the ‘catch hooks locked microswitch’. Did you have to mess with that control disc at all ?
