For starters, you assumed the product has quality issues by simply looking at the text written on a piece of instruction paper, which also is written in a language that you don't understand. At no point in the video did the creator provide feedbacks about the product. If fact, he didn't even turn it on. This is the same form of prejudice that happens to Hispanic and African American communities. Imagine being assumed as an illegal immigrant just because of your accent/appearance. @@Mysohvaperuna This headunit doesn't look OEM, it looks very cheap, looks out of place, the software on it will get outdated in a few years. Just use your phone on a phone mount, much better

of course it is fixed, btw, where are you put your mobile phone? i hope safe lockled in trunk, in case of accident it can cut your head, In case of front crash, display and everything is mooving forward, display can hurt you same like whatever you have in the car

Use a magnetic holder and phablet instead more cheap and no need to distrust the original dashboard

You cannot compare... this come with a idrive control wheel and integrate with the car (display speed/rpm, ac parameter, rear view camera, has an external gps antenna, dimm at night, support wheel control, support a sim card, ...)

wait, to make a hole in your dash board you need more than just a cutter knife, because underneath the leather is cushioning and hard plastic. you can see clearly, that there's still some cushioning as he removed the leather. to remove the plastic, you need a dremel. so he clearly skipped a part 😏 but i have to say, it's a clean cut 😏

@@hansol710 These cars are not as common as you think especially outside of europe. Also when you consider mileage, sport package etc. It's even harder to find a good one. That's beside the point though, because to me this is mistreatment of a car and I don't think this type of thing should be done to ANY car.

Yes i agree, good cars, with low mileage, good equiped, especially vith 6 cyl gasoline engines are expensive but not common 2,0 diesels that are maybe 80% in eu. To be honest if i had this car without idrive i would buy it , (maybe not, price is probably more than 500 usd and its almost 10% value of the car). I've just checked prices in my country, e90, prices starts from les than 4000 eur, for example cheapest without any problem www.autobazar.eu/bmw-rad-3-320-d-163k-e90-id11516511.html This cars are now 13 years old, many of them are very damaged by using, it is not ruining this kind of "upgrade" If i buy car now and i will let it for 5 years, car will have very low value. In western europe many of this cars are wrecked because of high service cost. I woudn to id to cars 1-5 years old but more than 10? with low value- no problem.

@@hansol710 Well these cars are the last of the BMWs that have hydraulic steering and they are more driving-oriented than the new ones. e90 are more fun to drive than f80 so I personally would like to keep them as long as possible. At the end of the day it's your car it's your choice but eventually they will be selling this and i would not buy a car with a big hole in the dashboard. It comes down to opinion because to me that's not an upgrade but to others it is. I have an e92 3.0l and in the US they are still expensive so I would not want this done to mine. These are not as common here as they are in europe. You can't even get a good e46 for under 5,000 usd here.

agree , i did not drive f30 only f10, i tried e91 325tds - perfect steering. Of course good ones are expesive also here, good e46 cost also 5k+. But this cars can buy young people as a 1st car, this kind of people just want bmw - they do not care about steering, rwd etc, this kind of people are 20y old, they live with they cell phones and they want apps, etc also in cars. when my fiend saw e90 display he was shocked - wft, what resolution it is? is so slow... no movies, no mp3, streaming .... this product is for this people. I appreciate you wanna let your car as long as possible and, dont want new just because is newer, i got my car 15 years still working without problem.

I got a e92 m sport highline 2009. Guy in a 2011 e92 did this to his dash. He stopped side of me if i was interested in this mod. My reply "sorry mine has a wide screen cic idrive already fitted" that design wont work on my car.

Fuck, seems very dangerous, so I did it on my wife's car... Now I drive her car, she drives mine, I'm sleeping under a bridge, screen it's been installed, not powering on, but still shine's enough to fix my hair in it, once I even shave myself. I love my upgraded BMW.
