Almost at 250k miles on mine just past 400k km. Love this thing and my m6 is almost at 200k miles and that thing sees mainly track use and drives to and from the track and gets ragged on the engine is dumb solid and the smg really comes alive and to its own on the track

Odd question but does your M6 have any blow by? Like when you take your oil cap off is there pressure coming out of it

Love the enthusiasm but you got quite a bit wrong. Rod bearings don't go at a fixed interval, it's down to use, if each startup can't be accounted for, the rod bearings should be done. There's a lot to do while you're in there: The tensioner and chain were updated for the vanos pump Oil squirters are updated It's good try to get an LCI sump that has the two drain plugs, there's about 2.5l of oil that's never changed with an oil change Injectors and lift pump should be changed All the high pressure lines should be changed, especially the steering lines next to the headers The vanos accumulator pipe should be changed.

Planning on going all in during the month of March/April 2024 to get my hands on one. 65,000km and a selling price of $26,500. I hope it treats me well when I get my hands on it. I hope I can have it for as many kilometers as you have. I have been wanting this for a long time. Hopefully I can come back here and let you know when I do buy it.

I remember watching this car in top gear when Jeremy clarkson was reviewing it and once you push m button and that thing will top speed at 204 miles per hour with limiter removal and v10 on a sedan was insane that thing can litterly beat a lamborghini huracan for 1/4th of the price

I think you should buy one from a dealer where you can get an aftermarket warranty. That is what I did and the warranty covered so far, I would say 5k in work. That is my thought. In the last 2 years I think I’ve spent about 10 k in maintenance, alternator, brakes and few other things. Oil change every 5k. Blast to drive, not the fastest car by today’s standards, but a v10, well…. Can you imagine not buying one and in the future saying I wish I did? They are reliable and people either get them beaten to death or neglect them till something breaks beyond repair. Which pill is it going to-be,the red or the blue
