Hey, ive been subscribed to you ever since I purchased a used 2004 bmw 325ci, and you seem like you have a lot of knowledge on bmw E46 models. My car's driver side window doesn't do the window indexing (frameless windows rolling down and up by like 1/4in by itself) when opening and closing the door, ends up making the window to hit the metal frame of the car and leaving a huge gap between the window and the car itself when it's closed. By any chance, do you have a diy method of fixing this problem?

Hey man, watch the e46 doors wont open from outside video, i think itll help you. I was having the same problem and it ended up being my door actuator.

Should just send it to a transmission shop called level 10 and get it built for 700+ HP if it's a ZF 5HP19

Would this work on a 323i e46 automatic? I heard you mentioned in your video something about going into “Sport” mode, the 323i doesn’t have such modes. Would it still work?

The E46 does have sport mode if you have Steptronic, when in drive, move the stick to the left and you’re in D/S for sport. It just changes shift points pretty much.

Hey, wondering how this has been holding up. Seen a bunch of forums and tutorial showing that I need a bunch of different connectors but I was planning on tapping into the wires by the shifter just like you did.

I have a video on my channel about maintenance but basically If you keep up with the maintenance its a good reliable car, just make sure it’s properly inspected before you purchase one🙏 they tend to be neglected cars (around 250000 kms on mine)

Does it go past 3rd gear?

I have a 2000 328ci automatic and the steering wheel looks a little different would this still work?

I used a m3 smg steering wheel, not too sure if the paddles would be able to work on non smg wheel

So i have a question, im looking into the steering wheel and i don't see a difference other than the paddles. So my questions is, if i can use my e46 steering wheel and just cut out for the paddles or im missing something different between both steering wheels?

Honestly thats a really good question, i never tried myself, wouldnt be surprised if its possible though

@_mrklein yes, that's what I'm thinking. Drill the paddle holes on the steering wheel and it should fit. But I'm not 100% sure. But to me the steering wheel looks the same.

Can you add paddles to normal e46 wheel... Instead of buying an actual smg wheel..?
