What cage was used? Did it come with the kit from Kenwood or is it extra?

I love how some people will ask about the weight impact of a stereo swap but would not consider the weight impact of 4 pints and a nice meal :)))

Cool product, def recommand. descent connectivity, the lagging is rare and barely noticeable or annoying. Volume control is kinda annoying but you get used to it. GPS apps and spotify are seamless. Very good bargain and very happy about it, it does the job, made my 2013 giulietta feel more tech-y lol

Please could you tell me the alternative cage that was used in the install? I like how the head unit is tilted at a slight angle for a better fit. The finished look is awesome. Since watching this video I intend on fitting the same head unit to my E46 330ci Sport Convertible (although I have the Harmon Kardon Nav system which makes the install slightly more difficult)

I've been thinking about upgrading my car's business cd player. I've had many head units over the years from the biggest manufacturers i.e pioneer, Kenwood and more.. they've all at some point developed faults.

Where did you get the metal bracket on the left and right of the stereo from?

Wouldn’t happen to have a link for the half cage bracket??

Hi guys, great video, I'm going to attempt the same in a 1 series BMW,I'm told I will have to run a live from the battery for some reason?, why not just use the live that goes to the old stereo?, surely it's just a housing/wire adapter for the 1 series?

that e30 though man i love that car,, dont worry e46 too got one on my drive just not a special one

Where did you get the half cage from?

Does the csl have the Harmon kardon speaker system and would this work on a regular e46 m3 ( no nav but Harmon kardon speakers)

What screws did you use for the radio to attach on to the metal cage/bracket?

Would these mounting locations be the same for LHD car ?

the button illumination on the left is white only, however the background theme or wallpaper can be changed

this is available from Incartec.co.uk. please be aware if this is the single din chassis Sony stereo then the half cage is not compatible

@@sander3094 did you just add some metal brackets to it, my only concern is getting the unit at the right height etc , did you have to trial fit it all when you did the amendments to the stock one? Got any pics?
