Definitely the right thing to do Rob, the saying is 'No good deed goes unpunished' but sometimes it's not all about the money and that chap deserved a break and it was his pride and joy and you showed him some respect.

Your comments at the end of the video are why I keep coming back to your videos. There are many out there but some are so polished as to be unreal. We all live in the real world and you honesty and humbleness are really great and why you've been so successful. I bet it was hard for the BMW owner to part with his pride and joy but you were fair to him and respectful we counts for a heck of a lot these days. Good on you guys.

I think what you did here was a really good deed. Like you say, it didn't look salvageable or could realistically be flipped for a profit but the pure fact that you bought it off that chap to obviously help him out as well as break even for yourselves is awesome. Much respect to you lads.

I never usually comment on car vids. but what impressed me was your humanity. The motor trade used to use HPI this is the 21st century version of it, no one in the motor trade would buy a car without getting it checked out first.

It's good how you helped that chap out you got your money back made a good insight video about how things happen etc and about the camper awning yes you could have edited it out but the whole reason I watch and enjoy your channel is because you are 2 honest straight forward down to earth blokes I personally wouldn't watch if it wasn't like that

It was the most impractical car I ever owned, underpowered and a money pit. I was delighted it went in part Ex after 12 months. Nice story. Cheers.

My first thought was that it is a waste of a car but you have to do what is best for you to stay in business. You can't save every car that passes through your hands. Your honesty and integrity is much more important. I like how you keep it real and that's something I do on my own channel.
