In my e36 coupe, when i lock the drivers door, not always it will lock de trunk and passanger doors. And when it does, its really heavy to turn the key. it locks and unlick immeediately. I arledy fix the doors switch, the interior light does turn off, but i find that the switch on the drivers handle mechanism is not working. I bypassed it, but still the same issue. Could you help me, please?

hi, i have a 96 328i 4 door and i'm having an issue where all tthe power windows, power locks, and sunroof doesn't work, it's like they don't have any power at all, what could be the cause of this? i've checked all the fuses and there are all fine, any help would be appreciated!

@@motoren_works Thanks for the answer!!! i've checked them and there is no power getting to any of these modules on the video, mind you that my car does not have asc or ews from factory, now i have i'm thinking that i have to trace from where the power for all these module comes from, oddly enough the engine harness(ecu, tcu) are all fine even the a/c controller, radio, cluster works just fine, i'm thinking there's got be a wire spliced somewhere.

For me, this technique is first aid for errors in the module. However, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I used Rexco contact cleaner

The module position for the right steering wheel is behind the glove box kzread.info/dash/bejne/lap8scSlfqrIiqQ.htmlsi=2KZxnl7T6HRV7zkq which is in the left side. In my opinion, you can check behind the glove box or the steering position

Hi, I really like your videos and the detail in your diy's. Is your car a South African manufactured unit, because 99% of the car looks exactly like my 1997/3 m43b18. If so, I need some help to locate my fuse 47 as well as central locking remote control unit and alarm module. I use key to lock and there is no flashing from the LED or hazards and no sound from the alarm horn.

Having the same problem on my e87 but through diagnostic tests error was central locking relay, but cant seem to figure out where its located on FRM or junction box gM module

Hey mate my fuse 47 took me about 2 years to find !!! The repair manual shows it being behind the glovebox in my US model car but that’s a mistake actually it was located on the drivers side(left) under the clutch pedal area! In my car I had to remove the trim and knee crash support and it was buried deep behind the bundle of wires near the firewall. It is a blue 15 amp single fuse infound to be the probmem for my apline alarm system not working. I hope this helps

My e36 gauge lights n gear selection lights r blinking at first n not lighting up at all later. What could be the prob?😢

Check the dimmer scroll wheel switch to the left of the steering wheel. Try swapping in a different one or move the position. I’ve found when that’s not plugged in none of the dash lights work

Hi, could you help me with my bmw e36 locking and unlocking issue. So I bought it recently and the locking funktion is not and was not said the old owner. When locking the car by the driver door only that door locks and unlocks same if you try with the truck. What could be the problem? Also the key has remote but that doesn't really work even with new batteries.

Hi, sorry for slow response. Door lock-unlock problem in E36 without remote sometimes came from the bad/error central locking module. For E36 with remote may be the problem source came from module also, or you can check the remote system (but i have no idea which part) FYI, my E36 doesn't have remote

I think you must check the actuator and door lock. if the actuator has no problem, you must check the central locking module

@@terrenceswanepoel8076 i spray the module with contact cleaner after i'm sure if no errors in the actuator and door lock mechanism. Honestly, spraying the electronic equipment before i replace it with another is my habit to make sure if the equipment still working or not

I have a 97 328i and my front windows do not work but the rear ones do. What can I do to fix it?

Try to check and clean this module. It is central locking and front power window module. Check the window mechanism in the door also. Front window problem usually comes from the module, CMIIW

Auto window om. Dari posisi kabin, yg depan bisa naik turun auto ketika tombolnya ditekan beberapa detik, sedangkan yg belakang autonya hanya ketika turun. Dari luar, kaca depan dan belakang bisa naik auto ketika pintu dikunci dan anak kunci ditahan beberapa lama. Jika tidak berfungsi, bisa dari modul central lock nya sudah error, dengan catatan kelistrikan normal dan tidak ada yg dijumper

@@motoren_works Setahu saya ini tergantung tahun nya Om. Kalau yg seperti Om bilang itu E36 yg sudah Facelift diatas tahun 1994. (Mesin M52/M43) Tapi kalau yg '94 kebawah (mesin M50/M40) yg blkg masih manual semua tidak ada auto down nya, (Malah kalau gak salah hanya utk Driver aja yg Auto, ini seinget saya ya. Hehe...) Krn Sockets blkg nya juga beda warna dan Bentuk. Pengalaman saya sih begitu. CMIIW. 🙏🏽😊

I never have a problem like yours, sorry. But, you can try to check/replace the emergency flasher relay (same with turn indicator)

@@markok0610 If I remember correctly, BC337 transistor. On the side of the pcb where the relay is. The transistor is next to the 47u /16V capacitor.

Berhubung sy belum pernah melihat bentuk modul central lock e36m40, jadinya gak bisa ngasih jawaban mas. Takutnya bentuknya gak sama, bisa jadi bentuk modul m40 lebih kecil atau lebih besar dibanding m43, mungkin loh mas. Kalo mau mengira2, coba cari modul yg output konektor belakangnya warna putih hitam seperti bentuk modul di video ini. Mugo2 ketemu mas.

Bmw e36 saya central lock kadang jalan kadang tidak, power window kadang jalan kadang tidak, power window juga kalo mesin lg hidup kadang suka tiba2 buka sendiri om, padahal sebelumnya central lock dan power window normal2 saja, apa bisa di coba cara yg om itu ya?

My car (e36) unlocks all doors when I use the key to get in either driver/pass door or trunk and also locks all doors in the same way. Now my drivers door no longer unlocks all doors or locks all doors when using the key. The interior door lock/unlock button works, but the drivers side crapped out on me. Then 1 week later it worked once again for the entire day and stopped working the next day. Going to have to try and figure that out.

Punya saya hanya pintu blakang kiri yg ga respon klo di lock atau unlock, apakah bisa dengan cara ini?

Coba dicek actuator yg di pintunya om, masih berfungsi dg baik atau sebaliknya

Om saya makai e36 320i .power window nya error naik turun sendiri. Trus gak bisa di tekan tombol naik /turun, pas di tekan untuk lock kaca belakang kadang bisa naik tapi berantakan naik nya. Tekan window depan kanan naik belakang ‘ udah di cek modul power window arus nya aman gak ada yg putus satu pun. Boleh dong om kasih pencerahan

@@Urang_kampuang27 coba module nya disemprot dulu pakai contact cleaner seperti di video ini om, siapa tahu sembuh. Kalau belum bisa, misal harus mengganti terlebih dahulu harus dipastiin jg module nya memang error, harga copotannya lumayan. Misal beli copotan, pastikan ada garansi dr penjualnya.

Waktu pertama ambil e36 sempet error, suka buka sendiri kalo kita kunci, jd was was kalo ninggal mobil, pas jalan juga suka sebel, dikunci dia auto buka sendiri, berapa kali di kunci baru gak balik buka lagi. Setelah stengah tahun pake dan gak diapa apain, sekarang alhamdulillah udah bener sendiri. Itu masalahnya dimodul itu juga atau gimana ya? Mohon arahannya suhu 🙏

Kejadiannya sama persis dengan punya sy jg, jadi analisis kemungkinannya bisa dr modul central lock jg. Kalo sudah sembuh, dibiarkan saja om. ntar diapa-apain malah ngambek lg dan takutnya malah minta ganti, hahaha.. Sy masih nubie om bukan suhu 🙏🏼

Kalau e36nya gak pakai remot, sumber masalahnya biasanya dari modulnya om. Tp kalau pakai remot sy kurang paham darimana, bisajadi dr modul atau part tambahan untuk sistem remotnya

Kalo menebak-nebak, Bisa dari Fuel pump, bisa jg dr sensor crank shaft (td bawah)

Om kalau central lock e36 sama skali mati apanya ya? Fuse sekring aman, sudah coba bersihkan modulnya jg, yg bisa main sesaat central lock posisi penumpang depan aja, habis itu sama sekali gk bisa lagi

Cara ini sebenarnya dilakukan untuk pertolongan pertama kalau ada indikasi error. Terkadang karena adanya penumpukan debu komponen elektroniknya. Kalau mau dicoba silahkan, tp kalau error tidak hilang bisa jadi modulnya minta diganti

Bang kalau mesin tiba2 gk bisa distater kendalanya apa ya

Berhubung e36 sy gak pake remot, jadinya gak bisa ngasih masukan nih om. Kalo dari pengalaman teman2 yg punya kasus seperti ini, sumber masalah katanya berasal dr remotnya, akhirnya mereka ngelepas remot dan balikin standard. Note: beda mobil bisa beda kasus ya om

@@beescarry6014 sepengetahuan sy, e36 itu tanpa remot pintu. Kalo untuk menstandardkan berarti ngilangin instalasi remotenya, baiknya sih datang ke bengkel spesialis bmw dan minta lepasin instalasi remotenya. Sy sendiri kurang paham untuk instalasinya om
