I used one of my BMW E31 8 series 840ci v8 as a example to create this video for everyone.
Unfortunately this 8 series was really badly maintained by previous owners and some what feels like it hasn't been well matained instead done few mods just to make the exhaust sound to me terrible.
This video shows how the exhaust sounded with the straight pipe with no resonator and catalytic converters (cats) and also how it sounded after installing the x pipe.
in the process the exhaust tips were modified to suit the car even though it has really good aftermarket boxes and tips which are from @LonglifeExhausts and one of the preferred exhaust system for this E31.
The whole installation took just over 1.5 hours and cost me £270 as of 2022.
I highly recommend anyone specially e31 8 series owners to have a x pipe installed as it really brings out the sound of the car with its rumble and rasp.
Company I used are called @PolimaxMotorsport they are based in London, have a branch in Bethnal Green and one in Camden. They have also supplied and fitted the x pipe for me for the price.
