True say, I didn't really like this shape very much. But I certainly thought the 8 series was mind-blowing when I saw it in the early 90s.

This is my fave Bimmer model of all, & this one is a beautiful example. (I'd disconnect that horrible bell tho.)

The first thing I was asked when I bought a 1986 Audi 5000CS Turbo Quattro was if I wanted to get rid of all the American "pings", and I lived happily without them for 8 years. We don't have those noises in Europe, I can't fathom how Americans can live with them.

Владелец - молодец! Такую машину содержать надо тщательно, с уважением и трепетом. Глаз радует, когда видишь такую красоту... Жаль, что теперь она лишь история, и найти в более менее состоянии хотя бы - невозможно

I love the E24, 1984 633csi.the shark.

That is truly a nice car. I wish I owned it. BMW was making pure driving machines then. Nowadays the only real BMWs are the M340i and the M240i.

Leider wird bald auch noch die Bundesabgasbespaßungsverbotsverordnung (BABVVO) das Fahren von Verbrennern in der Öffentlichkeit außerhalb von nachweislichen Berufspendelfahrten und Transportfahrten schon sehr bald verbieten, da dann Abgasbespaßung ein Verkehrsstraftatbestand sein wird!
