Thanks for that. I enjoy it so far, but I have noticed a 1-2 second lag. If you were up here I would definitely help. It's not hard, but definitely time consuming and tedious lol

Thanks for the amazing step by step guide. I am seriously considering making my old f20 bmw keyless, but the reliability and unlock lag time really concern me. I also watched your previous video, how is the lag time compared to this comfort access option, and do you experience any reliability issue so far. Thanks again!!

Hi, thanks for checking out both videos! I would have to say that there is more of a lag with the bimmertech because it only works when you touch the handle. The other one was a proximity. So usually by the time you touched the handle it would be unlocked. However, this unit has been more reliable in my opinion and Bimmertech has better customer service. On the flip side it does not have as much features as the other one did. If I knew what I do know I would just spring the extra money for bimmertech and save the time and hassle. I'm going to have a Live Q and A this Sunday. You're welcome to attend and ask more questions.

I have same car that came with CA. Neither door works have code suggesting antenna is disconnected which I take to mean has failed. Might you know the location of the OEM Comfort Access antenna, did not see it on your excellent vid install...

Hello. I got a bmx 5 45xd from 2020. Hybrit car. I dont have comfort access. Is it possible with this?

Only thing I noticed you did wrong would be when you ran it across your a pillar. There's an airbag there so you ideally want to go around the back of the airbag so you don't block it if it ever does deploy

How has this been working for you? Any issues since install??

Excuse me, if the engine is running, can people get off the car and use the touch door to lock it? Then if you put the key inside and touch the door to lock it, will it be locked?

I believe that they make one for the 1 series.

Hello It seems to me to have done everything correctly but the window on the driver's side no longer works. Do you know what this could come from?

Make sure that the connection for the window switch is fully engaged. If it is then check your fuses and if the problem still persists then check to make sure that there is nothing interfering with the actual motor and regulator in the door panel
