Thank you for your feedback! Yes, I think the C650GT is a good choice as a Maxi Scooter, if you want to have a comfortable ride with enough power. Before buying, always check with running engine if any unusual rattling noises occur. The early modelyears of the C 650 GT had some issues with the timing chain tensioners. Fortunately, on my bike they were replaced for free within the guarantee.

​@@Jensgerbi Great video mate and priceless advice ref timing chain tensioner. BMW were, shall we say, less than interested in helping me with mine. In a way I'm glad because I figured out what had gone wrong with it. Basically the tensioner is given so many turns inside to provide all the extension of the device it's ever going to need. But by all accounts a lot weren't pre-tensioned properly (including mine) and it was out of puff at about half travel, hence my camchain flapping around. Once you get your head round how it all works its really clever and satisfying to mend (make a gasket though before you put it back together). All quiet upon restarting and, touch wood, a brilliant machine to own 😊

I would absolutely recommend this. In my opinion it is even better than a Yamaha T-Max, especially in terms of comfort and space. The suspension of the BMW is very good and it runs rather well. If you want to buy one, check the engine for ticking noises. The engine had some problems with the tming chain tightener. Surprisingly, BMW changed it on my scooter on goodwill completely free of charge. Although my scooter is 8 years old.

Hi im all so getting a 2016 year one in 3 weeks time!! I'm trading my aprilia srv 850 for one as want abs/ traction control, But now I'm a bit worried about the service costs of running this bike after reading reviews?!! Any help

@@worzysp1 My experience is that the service costs are in a normal range. Compared to the Aprilia SRV you don't need to replace the drivechain regularly. So it shouldn't be more expensive with the BMW. And as I mentioned, the Problems with the timing chain was free of charge for me.

Bought the Kymco AK550 in April, upgraded from the Piaggio BV 350, love riding both of them and very reliable

mega entspannte fahrt. schön dass ma mit dem roller wichtige biker verbrennt :D (nur wenn ich mir die frechheit erlaufben darf - bei 10:09 hätte ich noch 20 sekunden geartet sonst top!

Danke! Ja, mit der Automatik hat man in den engen Kehren echt Vorteile. Und trotz der rund 250kg Leergewicht von dem Roller ist er erstaunlich wendig. Wobei es ja nicht darum geht wer am schnellsten oben ist - jeder in seinem Wohlfühltempo. Da sollt man auch drüber stehen, wenn man von nem Roller "verbrannt" wird. :D Hast recht, bei 10 Min war n bisschen riskant. Ich war an dem Tag ein wenig genervt, weil auf der Anfahrt nach Bormio extrem viel los war.
