Witam posiadam bmw e60 2004 r z ubogim wyposażeniem i niestety mapa niemiecka "znaczy wszystko po niemiecku " nie zbyt się znam na tym ale bluetooth i aux mi nie działają wogóle nie da się połączyć możliwe że są pokodowane? W jaki sposób to najłatwiej odkodowac?

How i open the aux with menu? Is that only availible with obd?

I have the e90 2007 . Whit only the aux input . Can i change this for the aux/usb one ?

A third thing to check on older cars with no original factory aux socket (before 2006, perhaps?) - if the BMW Business CD is a very early model (for example date 09-04) then unit does not support AUX and cannot be re-coded with BMW diagnostic kit - possibly this could be fixed by re-flashing firmware or something, but really much easier to find a later Business CD from a breakers (I found one from 2008) which will be prepared for AUX from the factory.

I have a 2003 and had aux function work fine by plugging in the female adapter end to a tp Bluetooth that allowed me to Bluetooth my cellphone music and audio played out the car speaker

My e90 aux is greyed out on the nav screen cannot select it

Witam serdecznie. mam pytanie może Pan mi odpowie bo fora nic nie dają, otóż mam bmw e87 118d przedlift i chciałem pobawić się NCS Expertem by sprawdzić jakie mam możliwości pozmieniać coś w modułach np. komfort access itp ale okazuje się że moduł CAS mam z e90, czyli był wymieniany i nie mam możliwości jego edycji, czy jest możliwość zakodowania/przeprogramowania tego modułu bez narobienia sobie bałaganu? posiadam INPE, NCSExpert,Tool32, WinKFP, BMW Scanner i w sumie tyle może któryś z owych programów wystarczy? nie chciałbym tylko czegoś zepsuć

Mogę się mylić, ale wydaje mi się, że Seria 3 E90, Seria 1 E87 i X1 E84 mają sporo wspólnych elementów i niektóry moduły mogą nosić nazwy innych modeli, co wcale nie oznacza, że coś było wymieniane. No i kodowanie NCS-Expertem jest dość wymagające. Można tam sporo nakopać, ale też sporo zdziałać jeżeli się wie co i jak. Moja pierwsza sesja diagnostyczna z NCSem trwała 30 minut, byłem cały spocony, nie zakodowałem nic, ale byłem szczęśliwy, że auto nadal działa. Później używałem Carista do kodowania w BMW.

Remove it and check if the antenna cable is connected.

What about missing “Bluetooth”, instead of the “aux” in the radio? I mean why does the phone icons does not work?

If you are talking about steering wheel buttons, then there’s only one kind of multifunctional steering wheel - with all 8 buttons. It was installed even if your car was not equipped with hands-free adapter.

You can start with typing "NCS-Expert" into google. This should give you some idea about what is necessary.

k-dcan should work. You can also use other interfaces with mobile apps (like Carsita or Carly for BMW) but those are most likely limited to activating only some (most popular) codings.

Phone connectivity was an extra option. if you have it in your car, then you should have special module under the boot floor. There was just one type of multifunctional steering wheel. You will have the phone button on it even if your car is not equipped with that option.

Most likely you need to code it back with diagnostic interface like NCS-Expert.
