This worked on my 2011 bwm f10 msport. Im glad I found this video because I was about to take the drivers door panel off and check the connections at the actuator because I didn’t notice All the doors weren’t looking. The door actuator fuse in the USA version is on the bottom right second one up from the bottom. I now have extra fuses and hemostats in the glove box if it ever happens again. Thanks man!! 👍

You are the best, buddy! I have the same BMW, but the F11 wagon model. And it had exactly the same problem and symptoms as in your car! The only difference is that my car is a European model and for this reason I suppose the fuse box was inverted at 180º! The position of the same fuse was lower right! But the blown fuse was the same blue one, Number 14 of 15 Amps! You helped me a lot, I really appreciate it for your video! Thanks you very much. 👍🏻

So the fuse should be 15 amps not 10 ? Cause mines keep blowing and it has the 10

Very appreciate you❤. My bmw f10 520d fixed. One more problem is the fuse is really hard to disconnect. Buy a needle nose pliers before you try it.

It was this fuse that went in my F01 7 series and caused the doors to deadlock except the drivers one when opened with the key. Changed it and all is working again. Thanks.

Thanks man! I overreacted and thought that my kid shorted something while locking the car. Well he did so, but luckily it was an easy fix. For the Euro-models the fuse box is upside down.

wow, I just also noticed that your fuse panel, and mine, are flipped upside down from each other. Its the same fuse panel, just the placement is flipped. And yes, I found my fuse was blow too, just replaced it, and fixed the issue.

I have a 2012 528i and the problem is it unlocks the car but not locks it, neither the blinking lights come on, what’s the name of the fuse i should mention at the autoshop ? Do you think i should replace the fuse and check ?

Do I have to use the tablet(MaxiSys) to reset the car after fuse replacement was done. In case of I do it by myself at home. Thank you.

Hi if you have diagnostics yes just delete fault codes but if you don't have diagnostics replace the fuse and try if works then walla if not disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and connect that should reset everything.

Hi! I have a similar issue with the passenger door. When I click the fob to unlock it doesn’t work, but works to lock 😪

It's a little hard without a diagnostics but I would recommend to try to disconnect battery for about 5 minutes and connect then try .

I finally found which fuse was blown! It was a 15Ah fuse I replaced it with another one just like in this video and it worked! Thanks for making this video! I appreciate your replies!!!

My 520d doesn’t flash when u unlock or lock car no acoustic sound no red flashing light once car locked all was working fine before any solution to this problem?

My key was left in the washer machine and now the car starts but won't lock the doors 😢

I have the same issue and i followed same step but it didn’t work ! My key can open the boot but it can’t open the passenger doors, i manually open the driver door! And i use the key to lock it !! Any suggestions !
