lip looks great, I actually like the look of the non M bumper as well

It changes the look to a more aggressive and complete look. Its a cheap but excellent mod. Am doing on mine now.

called whiskers, painted mine black too. nice lip might get the same one for mine. getting the m sport bumper is what everyone does i kept mine as is. dope car bro

​@@SimpleSickBuilds also. If you wanna do something cool and colorful I suggest taking off the wind guard that pops up when you open your sun roof. It comes off with 2 screws. Super easy. I have a 328i 2015 (mineral grey) and painted mine golden yellow. Looks really cool imo.

I know this was 2 years ago, but the fun thing is im in the same situation like you at 3:15 , I started lookinf for a front lip for my f30 and my mirror caps and rear spoiler are carbon fiber ones, but I think I will also go with a simple gloss back front lip because the carbon one wouldn’t hold up well on eastern european roads

Just made the same install on my F31, looks MUCH better! video was helpful too :)

Quick question, I'm in the process of installing it, installed the 2 side screws, but middle is hanging right now, tried screwing in the middle screws with just a screwdriver, and is nearly impossible, as there's no premade holes

O how exactly did you screw the rest of the screws in with no holes, or did you just use 3m tape?

@@shawndegamer5366 you are meant to drill 3 there screws in the middle where indicated in the splitter, there is no hole in the middle of the car, only the 2 on the sides. The kit should included a double sided tape, use it to keep the splitter in place while you drill the screws in. You can do it by hand but that what would require patience and muscle, I'd recommend borrowing a power drill from a friend and use it to drill the screws in.

I'm getting one of these lips for my car too. You should just vinyl wrap those plastic inserts - wont show the chips as bad because vinyl has some healing properties. Either that or use a proper clear coat.

Use black 3m vinyl electric tape on the bumper trim.

i feel like u sort of need a lip on the non m sport bumpers as they angle up quite high without one

Nice vid👍🏻The front silver bits are called either 'Fog light trim' or 'canards' at least here in UK hope that helps. Been looking for some too as the silver looks awful on these cars😂😭😂😭 But defo need a front spilter/skirt too as car looks awesome😍

@@davebrabans3532 try using a trim remover. I took mine to a wrapping garage and they did it all there. It only cost me £15 for the two in black

Do trim pieces come off easy as I really need mine wrapped as they look awful silver.

@@schris_f30 if you go to a wrapping place they'll take em off for you and should only take like 10min at most for wrapping. Using a card could help to take them off :) I took one of mines off but took time since didn't wanna snap it...I'd say same difficulty as taking mirror caps off honestly.
