Price wise it's the cheapest of that lot, it undercuts pricing by a fair margine, the bmw 3 series gran limo Diesel is for around 72.1 lacs on road the Lexus es300h exquisite line is for 73.2 lacs on road, that being a base model still has more features and presence than the 3 series. BMW is 4.83 m long and the Lexus is 4.97 close to 5 m long car. There is an ample difference there.

In the UK the ES is compared to the BMW 5 series and Audi A6, Mercedes E class. Comparing an ES to a 3 series is wrong. You should be be comparing it to the Lexus IS

Luxury-> comfort, additional damping for interior noise, long-term ownership cost, reliability, road tax, fuel efficiency, replacement parts replacement beyond warranty. Could you guess which would be my executive decision of choice?😂

I had a 5 series for 4 years, a merc glc cuope for 3 years and now currently a lexus es300h. My best choice so far. Am pretty sure it will be another lexus for my next car.

People complaint if car company remove buttons & makes digital. People complaint if they place the buttons... 😂😂😂

These guys are idiots. Those buttons give a lot of character to the car. How the fuck people still prefer touch buttons is beyond me!

Both great cars. But overall, Lexus wins. You save on fuel and maintenance costs with the Lexus. The Lexus also holds its value better than BMW. And of course, Lexus is the most dependable luxury brand, second to none.

I don't want to spend an arm and a leg at the dealer for maintenance so I will pick the Lexus. The hybrid system gives excellent gas mileage too. Moreover, the ES competes with the 5 series...

One common thing in grand i10 and bmw 3GL is the thud sound when you go over the pit holes. Absolutely irritating while commuting to office daily. For a daily office going car Lexus is unbeatable

if u drive.. its a bad choice cuz u will get bored out of ur mind driving.. of course when u do compare with any car in its same segment.. its good only if ur being chauffer driven!!

BMW has manual mode for transmission and it does hold on to the gear and wont auto upshift.

This review was excellent for me as am in the delima of choosing from these two for me..... Well my view is the Lexus excusite version which is the lower trim is definitely a beat for 3 series simply bcs paying 73 and carrying a " 3 series " tag doesn't worth comparing the even lower trim of lexus.... Luxury, looks and comfort lexus wins and futuristic too as its a strong petrol hybrid with 20km mileage... And very very low on service cost even periodic or long term.... Durability ofcourse.....3 series drives better.... Better suspension tuning in diesel,.... Equivalent space... Less on price... Very less body roll (german engineering ).... Two solid modes of reverse and side parking (it works practically ).. ...... End of day to showoff its lexus with size, looks and luxury..... With bmw u pay this much and carry the 3 series tag

Nice video, thank you. I faced this question sometime ago, Lexus ES 300h vs BMW 330i ? I like driving slowly and my previous car was a Toyota Camry 2006 XLE V6. Believe or not I finally picked the BMW 330i, and I am really happy, what a beautiful, safe and convenient car it is! I have 4 years with it and I do not regret at all for this purchase. Regards from Mexico.

What is the Ground clearance for both ? I have New Camry facing ground clearance issue

Missing a key point. Under 50 miles, it's the fun factor of the 3 Series. Over 50 miles ES 300h all the way, which is why I bought it. For value there's nothing in it's class that can compete for Luxury package overall comfort, ride and especially smoothness. The Lexus is like an escape to sooth.

Guys you got a lot of good shorts. But please increase the video quality. It is still at 1080p and we need to see these cars in at least 2160p

As a bmw and a Lexus owner I think bmw should start comparing to Kia or Hyundai because it’s not and never reliable if u buy a new bmw there’s a fault code after the first service then after that follow a lot of faults Kmt

Lexus in the medium to long term will be the better car, easier to live with and wont break like the BMW.

In India it's over priced! However it comes with a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometre and can be extended up to 2 years or another 50 thousand kilometers. The beauty of this car is luxury and reliability comes with an affordable price which is perfect peace of mind. Fcuk German car, coz its *over Engineerd* Lexus is such a sweet heart. It's literally a wifeee ❤ material, you can live with it for a long time without any problem just with the regular maintenance, trust me the regular maintenance wouldn't cost u an arm and leg like those German cars. Drive is kinda boring coz it's an Executive Sedan, aint fun to drive like the BMW. Hye! Lexus has a good resale value. Choice is all yours, if you want a sexy girl with high maintenance and good drive pleasure for a limited time with an expensive cost then German cars are just for you. On the other hand, if u want a classy woman, a partner for life whom u can drive unlimitedly with a lot of reliability u can settle down with Lexus. When it comes to prestige its the German cars, but if you aren't concerned about the prestige and pride u can settle down with Lexus. Lexus is popular around the world, the base in India starts from 70-80 lakh and the next model costs close by to 2 cr in sedan models. On the other hand, for this cost u have many other options available from German markets. Test drive all the cars before u buy and decide wisely. Hope this helps!

Being driven a 300, 3 series and 5 series recently iam of the opinion that this comparison is unfair. 300 is the segment of E class and 5 series and the price tag of 3 series and c class.

As an American, u can buy used 5 year old bmw half the price. Lexus tho, never depreciate like that.

Because in America you have shitty Mercedes and BMW mechanics. Most are just not good. They just knows how to swap part and the labor is insane. I'm from Africa and our Merc Mechanics are way better and our Mercs last longer than those in the U.S even though we have bad roads here

I love buttons. I hate touch screen on any locomotive. They re hard to operate on move and are never that crisp compared with buttons. Screens looks and feels nice at start but over a period of years u need buttons. Dedicated functional easy and practical buttons. They may look a lot at start but get used to em really soon. Chimps can use em soon enough, so human minds can too even sooner

The whole comparison is kinda invalid. The ES is a competitor of the 5 series or we can even consider the 6 series. The 3 series is completely below the segment. Not a fair comparison...

Lexus for comfort, consumption and reliability BMW for more modern interior & infotainment and sporty drive.

My heart says BMW but head says Lexus. Out of warranty the BMW can become unreliable and expensive to maintain from my research. I need to retire my Skoda Octavia MK3 VRS this year, Lexus 300h is on my short list.

You don't talk at all about the elephant in the room. Efficiency and reliability. The Lexus has lower running cost and is less likely to break down compared to the BMW. I'd take the Lexus anytime over the BMW. Also the ES300h has been updated for 2024.

I had BMW GL... ALOMST SPENT 68L BUT LOT OFF COST CUTTING, HARD PLASTICS, NOT FIT FOR LONG RIDE...

Lexus is a bit pricey, instead M340i le sakte hai same price me, 380 bhp 😎

BMW reliability is horrible and service cost much, much higher than the Lexus + you can get several light color interiors, even all white, with the Lexus ES - PS Your camera is shaking all the time in the BMW 😁 That is NOT Luxury!

Wow...imagine hearing an automotive channel saying the car isnt modern because it has buttons!!! Dude touch sensitive buttons suck!! The reason all the manufacturers are switching to touch everything is becuse its just cheaper to produce. Just get some actual car guys to review cars man.
