A quick review and drive of our Alpine White BMW 1M Coupe.
The BMW 1M Coupe was the smaller, nimbler little brother of the E9X M3--a parts-bin car that came to fruition and made the enthusiast world a better place as a result. In hindsight, it bridged the gap between the last of the naturally aspirated fire-breathing V8 E9X M3s and the turbocharged F80 M3/M4s that followed. Time has been kind to the 1M Coupe; come with us on a short drive to find out why.

Great review. Well done.
I won two events at Optima Search for the Ultimate Street Car completion at Pikes Peak International Raceway in a 1M Coupe. It was hugely outpowered by the competition that were pushing 600+ hp cars. It was a ripper in autocross events.
In my view, the 1M was a budget M3 and a predecessor to the M2. The M3 had nothing over the 1M on track back in the day. Ask me how I know….

So good, imo the 1 series was the natural successor to the e30 3 series throne. If only they had used a S54 instead.

I’m glad they used the N54. With the twin turbos the boost and low end torque is truly instant. And i don’t even need to start about how the N54 beats the S54 in about every wY
love this. prices in the UK are super high for this car. I am currently looking at M2's. Do you think they are good cars? I am normally used to Porsche but have 2 911's and a cayman 981. I might sell the cayman for an M2. Great channel mate

I sold this year my OG M2 2018 and bought a low mileage 1m 2012 orange. No regrets. One of a kind.

Ironically, the "flagship ///M cars" are not the most sought after - except the 3.0 CSL or ///M1, of course.
