All I see is a Suzuki front. Can’t see anything else. Such a shame. Glad I got the last 1250 version.

meh. I listed my 1250 for sale. Come next season and the front end will be yesterdays news.
I think the blue one looks bad ass.
Buy one and you'll definitely think you're the coolest biker at Starbucks... till the 1400 comes out.
I already own the GSA1250 and I'm very happy with it. The new headlight cluster is unique. The four partitions are the daytime running light with the main light in the middle. The new bike looks sleeker and a lot of the annoying frame gaps have been filled in. But this bike also looks a lot smaller than my old GS1200 Exclusive unless those riders are supertall in the photos. The GS and GSA had good weather protection and a lot of road presence. This new sleeker GS model will struggle with that. The Handlebar indicators will be interesting and as you turn into the corner, the indicator may not be visible to oncoming traffic. I think this is a step backwards for the GS when it comes to image. This bike is already inferring that the GS1400 will use a different forward body. My current GSA1250 could be my last BMW as this new design doesn't really work for me. If there is a different GSA1300 and it looks like a current GSA, then I might change my mind. The Ducati V4 is better looking than this bike, it has a road presence. In my opinion, BMW designers haven't really captured the spirit of the GS, or did the designer previously work for Suzuki and they designed the Vstrom.
The designer of the headlight wants dragging outside and beating until he bleeds from three orifices. Then he wants beating some more, definitely a “that’ll do” job. Instead of going bigger and chasing KTM, go lighter, improve the build quality. After almost 20 years of GS ownership I’m now on Moto-Guzzi’s, I know that won’t bother BMW, but hey ho, keep up the great work to Andrew and team 👍
That lone rider edit looks fantastic!!! I have read that a lot of people don’t like the headlight. That’s actually my favorite part. I love the 1250 headlight but I also love the new one. I like the idea of an electronic wind screen and the radar. I’m hoping for adaptive cruise personally and blind spot monitoring. Hoping the rest of the upgrades are improvements to long standing issues with the current GSA. Also little upgrades like I’m really hoping they add lighted controls.

Do you have any image of the tail light?
I thought exactly the same when I seen that X shaped headlight, arranging the lights in four axes would be a neat way to add in the lean requirement, that doesn't exist for those LED arrays on cars. This is the way to replace that complicated gimbal on the 1250 with a simpler LED array. With an arrangement like this, it's very easy to have auto dipping, cornering and DRL function all integrated. No need for different right and left hand drive functions with automatically shaping LEDs either.
Your rendering of the 1300 in all black with LR products attached changed my mind. This styling, for me, works in triple black.

I hope BMW will release a Triple Black version!
Personally, I think it looks beautiful - they've made it look so smooth and flowing - can't wait to see it at the dealerships. Great video!
Hoping they have made the quick shifter a bit smoother. As for the looks...need to see it for real. The current 4 series people hated at first when they released the Press pics.
Beautiful bike for sure! Best!
Headlight is vile I’m a r1250 gs ultimate edition owner I like most of the shape but that front end 🥵
Definitely along with the lone rider luggage ❤
Don’t like the light, but that isn’t my issue . It’s that the subframe looks like it’s aluminum (?)
I didn't care for it much when I first saw it, but the more I look the more it grows on me. I'm not going to buy one unless something happens to my 1250.
The bike overall looks nice, the headlight however I think will like beer be an aquired taste. Will I buy one? Perhaps in 2025/6 when the gsa is launched and once bmw has had a chance to iron out the few wrinkles that always appear.
As a long term GS owner (currently a 1200GSA), I really like the updated looks of the new 1300. Modern with an aggressive edge and the headlight looks distinctive and stylish. Of course aesthetics are subjective. I also really like the green! Talking with my local dealership a few months back, the chap there said there was going to be a real distinction between the standard GS and the GSA where it finally appears; apparently the serious off-road focus with the 1300 will be reserved for the GSA whilst the GS will remain more road biased. Obviously spoke-wheeled rally variants notwithstanding. I REALLY liked the Lone Rider mock up.... very purposeful looking indeed and that tinted windshield complemented the black out look completely. I'm not in position to upgrade and I am extremely happy with my current bike however, if I was in a position to, I would definitely be placing an order when the GSA drops. Thanks for posting, it was a very interesting video. 😎
The headlight looks far better on video than the photos
Over the years, I’ve learned to look past the gimmicks and focus on what matters to the riding experience. For me, a much improved quick-shifter and possibly an auto-ride height system would be it (and possibly significant weight savings). My 1250 is plenty powerful and smooth, and looks and sounds great with an European Akra. For some, auto-cruise control may do the trick (commute, or serious highway miles). Same for a 911 - people obsess over options when only a few things really matter if what you value is driving. (Totally get it and respect that people can value other things (btw, love the green version))

-12 kg, auto lowering on standstill, latest electronics. Thats confirmed, in addition I expect finetuned suspenspension, better QS and overall better GS experience.
The look has definitely grown on me. I’m definitely going to be upgrading from my f750gs.
Definitely like the rally version. Will need to see it in the flesh though Hope it stands up to all the hype.
We will all hate it now then love it later, the head light will grow on us all. Honestly, I don’t hate it…it’s just drastically different that’s like WHOA. I’m sure it rides beautifully. The blacked out Lone Rider edit makes it look great.
I think it looks great and would love to order one, looks super modern and interested to hear the full spec's on launch.
Porsche-like with the X headlight. Nice!
Rally looks like a beast. Headlight makes the bike look slimmer, which is more flattering imo. Being only 170cm (5'7) adjustable ride height is a must on the new model
I love it and will prolly buy one as soon as I can test ride it ... pity I won't be able to equip it with LR from day one?
Actually, I didn't much like the headlight design at first blick but now whenever I look back at the bike I feel myself getting in love with this beast 😍😍😍, defenetly the GSA version will look even more mascular and more agressive... 😈😈😈
Very much like this bike from the beginning, even the starlight. And if I get it right, this thing must be quite an intelligent unit!
I think they made a huge mistake with the front light cluster. It looks awefull.
Bet it’s fantastic
Love it. Kinda regret buying 22 1250 ADV But not enough to buy this
Don't care for the new headlight, I think the 1250GS looks way better. Just ordered a KTM 1290 SAS.
I believe the Germans just haded a large part of their sales to the Italians and maybe also a part to the Austrians For sure the Multistrada (for those that can afford it) has got a sale upgrade, the KTM might as well, lets wait and see the new Africa Twin also coming in a few weeks, The Germans messed up, they destroyed an icon.
I think it looks great . Except the headlight
I like the new look. I call it X 1300 or GSX 1300 :) Getting one ins.
Looks waaaaay better. I hated the past ones. I’m still loving my 1290 sas. But this is a bmw I would own.
Now there is a stop sales in the united states on all new and used bmws It is noted its not a safety defect i hear it is a emissions defect
I need to see it for real, but based on your video, I'm not sure. It doesn't look like a GS anymore, its gone a bit soft perhaps? There is something just a bit odd about it, but of course, it is new and will take getting used to.
looking forward they cut prices on 1250 line up
Only thing wrong with it is that headlight

A lot of you haven't cornered on or off-road in the dead of night. My f800 can't see an apex 50m away in the night. This is brilliant

@GordLinder so you rode this bike at night ? I ride at night all the time.
Can't wait for the 2 liter GS😂
My 1250 suits me perfectly... then I have the lonerider luggage... if I have to change it will be in comparison with the "next Africa Twin" 2024/2025.Otherwise I rather like the future rally version.
Not sure about functionality of that light, but I personally don't like it if that is what it genuinely will be. I might be wrong, but it also looks like the cylinders are positioned higher up on the 1300. If so better clearance, but they'd need to be lighter otherwise that weight positioning not going to be very good.
The new f900gs looks a better option
Like the HEADLIGHT cause I'm not the norm
I wonder what the demand is for bikes that are really capable of a round the world adventure, like the 1150 gs for example. Would a bad drop with modern electronics stuff you in the middle of the Gobi? And do we really need such increases in power? The manufacturers are chasing each other for power, why?
I like the design, but I just bought a GS1250 two months ago.....
Not a fan of the headlight.
It looks great, but the real question: how much lighter?
On my way to dealer to order a 2024 GSA, don't know if I like it yet, lol.......
Leave it to BMW to not fear innovation. Look what they did to the 3- and 4-series cars. I’ll buy the 1400 after I am confident that LoneRider has adaptable gear to the adventure. There is plenty more technology that is great for the rider that hasn’t been revealed by the press but many dealers have discovered tidbits👍
Oh it's the Suzuki VStrom's German cousin. 😊
A lovely Scottish inspired headlight 🏴 😂
Why isn't anybody mentioning the obvious? These bikes get bigger and heavier with every model. Who cares what the lights look like when BMW fails in fixing the most obvious defect?
I will need to see it in the flesh to really make up my mind about it
Well looks like I’ll be looking at a Ducati then if that is what it looks like..don’t like that front whatsoever
M?
Much better looking that the 1250. That being said, it's not a pretty bike but nor should it be. I don't think BMW will be worried.
il faut la voir en vrai. mais je préfère ma 1250GS. si je dois changer de moto, je prendrai plutôt une F900GS avec pack enduro.
I honestly can’t see the point of a1300?! 50cc more an a whole lotta weight added. What’s the point!!!
Marketing decoy ?
I like it, the 1250 was looking old, dated and boring and every man and his dog has one (I’ve owned 6 x R12/1250). The only thing I won’t like is if they have radar cruise control that can’t be run without the radar part (I hate radar cruise).
can't hear him
The light grows on, better than what suzuki did with just a single bulb on the GSX-S. Can't wait to see the adventure.
Not buying it. Very happy with the 1200 gs. It is a bit too round to my like. It would interesting to see what you guys comes up with. I see a transition to electric looking at the curves.
Much like the Honda NC750x
It was a very long video for a preliminary info of a "not yet launched" bike. Became quite booring as actually there isnt much info to share. Plz shorten and make it more intresting and plz don't shy from saying something negative also.. feels more realistic. Cheers and keep up the great work..👍
Do not fire him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like a fugley Honda NC 750 🤮🤮🤮. I’ll be keeping my 1250 GSA
Jury still out...need to see and ride...first impressions are no...
Not buy, 1250 front is much better.
Looks tiny under those riders
Can't wait for 2024 gsa 1350 with a supercharger😅😄😃🤣
November
Happy with my 1250 Ultimate edition! I don’t like the looks of this model😊
So much for a tail eliminator......
your voice is really soft dude
It’s in an ugly contest with the KTM.
I've never liked the GS it's not for me I prefer the Africa twin but I can see why a lot of GS fans aren't happy it looks like china designed it. I like the front view but that view from the side is 🤢🤮 edit it looks nice with the blue/red/silver paint work but the all white one is awful
No it is not cool! It looks awful. Sorry they need to rethink the light
Still way too big, bulky and heavy. It's not something I'd ever own.

Well I just got back from sixty seven hundred miles in twenty two days. About eight hundred miles of gravel road and incredible country. Did I go down dirt bike tracks nope. Do I want to go down dirt bike tracks nope. I'm sixty seven years old. I drive long distances to get to incredible gravel roads and Is adventure bike trails. There were tons of the middle weight adventure bikes out there. But for big miles fast in one day. Is there too small.

@R2robot Yeah, it was pretty good humor passing the t seven on the interstate going ninety five. Is are they great motorcycles yes they are. Can it go down the interstate like my g s a not a chance. I regularly saw three hundred and sixty miles on one tank of fuel. As I said before am I writing down dirt Is bike trails not a chance. But if you want to go from minnesota to colorado in a day and a half or two, you're not gonna do it on a lightway midway adventure bike. And in the same situation, i'm not gonna be on your dirt bike trails I'll probably buy one of the g s a nine hundreds next year .

ugh, headlight is awful. was hoping it BMW wasn't going to go the way of the ugly Japanese bikes.
I love that ugly strange headlights...❤
The 1250 looks better 😮 i think gs riders in the future will buy a KTM or Ducati
