Thank you! There is a small panel behind/below the lower of the two actions that you removed. It is essentially horizontal when it is installed. Mine is noisy - it makes creaking sounds all the time. Do you have recommendations for removing it and/or mitigating the noise? Thanks again!

Is the start stop panel removable from the climate control panel? I only want to replace the climate control panel and have bought just that one part to replace it, not the start stop panel with it. Thanks.

You can disconnect it easily.

Hello, from this video I saw that all buttons below the climate control (start/stop, etc..) are connected to this system (the AC one). If I had to remove radio unit for add an android radio 2-Din, I have to put the AC module down, instead of the multi-function buttons, but how and where can I connect these buttons? Ps. In my car (bmw 1-series E87) I have just one button of those, the start&stop one. Thanks in advance for help, hoping for your feedback.

I would just hide this start/stop button behind the climate control to make sure that there's no fault because it's missing. And I would recode the Start/Stop function to disable it. That way you don't have to worry about it anymore.

I don't want to sound stupid, but If I have normal air conditioning, but I change the climate control unit to a automated one, will it work?

Most likely will not work. The control unit is one thing, but there's a lot of sensors and servos in the car. Some of them are not installed if you have manual climate control.

Witaj, posiadasz wiedzę jak naprawić ogrzewanie jednej ze stref climatronica? Ew gdzie jest problem, podobno jest 6 czujników.. Po diagnostyce było sporo błędów, dotyczących jakiejś pompy ogrzewania czy coś w tym stylu. Ogrzewanie działa w ten sposób, iż grzeje nie równo, strefa climatronica do środka nie grzeje, dopiero jak ustawi się na 28 to grzeje jak w piekle. Pozdrawiam.

I had the same problem with middle vent

If I was to do this then replace with touch screen unit I would need to move climate controls Down abit but where would the parking sensor and over buttons go?

Usually those touch units should take over functions from the removed button. Also there's a different AC panel (with integrated heated seats buttons) that you can use in your car. Check out "BMW X1 E84 AC panel". Can't tell for sure if it's a direct swap or if there's some coding involved.

This disables the auto start/stop system that shuts off your engine when you stop the car and put it into neutral.

This depends. Bluetooth can be used for handsfree calls as standard and there was an optional "Enhanced Bluetooth" package which allows you to stream music from the phone. Check this to lern more: kzread.info/dash/bejne/g2iJua6cZ7eshrQ.html

hi. Please, can you help me? Probably you sold the car, or maybe it isn't your car, but you could help me, cause i love her, and i would to keep it for some years... I ve got a e82 year 11/2007, with the same dashboard of the car in this video, and also with the start&stop pushbotton at the bottom. I tried to fit a 2 din car stereo with a different brand bezel, but i failed, cause there is no space inside: the car stereo touches the air ducts. Now i've seen you bought a janus design bezel, but the question is: did you cut something inside the car, for exemple in the air ducts area, or this bezel fits better than other brands? can i put a 2 din car stereo without modifications at the car? I've seen that exists also a solution to fit the car stereo at the bottom and the climate controls at the top, but i don't like this solution: i like a lot your solution, with the stereo upper and the climate controls at the bottom. Would you write me something about my questions? Thanks a lot :)

Completly wrong, I think best way, just taking it out from down side with fingers, then pushing it out from the back side of the ac unit, this tools disconnect the ac unit and the holding plastics around which is not good… I had same mistake because of youtube videos. Now just fingers from down side… and it goes directly out.
