Out of my budget currently 🥲

Bhai, I am also a sx 250 owner. My son has gixxer 250. Both use same OEM air filter. My son ordered BMC airfilter for gixxer 250. While I was installing it I found the shape of the size and shape of the two slightly different. The OEM is sliglty wider and rounded in the front left corner, but in BMC all the 4 sides are same. Hence, the BMC doesn't fit properly. Though it can be force fitted, but minute gaps in the cover remain. This could be very dangerous in the long run as unfiltered air is passing from under the BMC filter. Actually, this BMC air filter is for Gixxer 150. Website also mentions same. But in the box sticker they wrote gixxer 150/250. (I had discussed with LRL motors regarding this. They told me to return the item) If you don't understand what I am talking about, take out the BMC filter and compare it with the OEM filter. Note the front left corner. I did not fit the BMC in gixxer 250 as I cannot take such risk with engine. I suggest you to remove it.

More air means more dust inside engine Oil replacement interval is reduced by this.

Bhai the name "Air Filter" has "Filter" in it as well... BMC filter has oil infused filter cloths that do no allow dust in it.

@@MotoStromImran Bhai Intake badhega Outflow bhi adjust hona chahiye na? Isiliye ECU retuning karwate hai including adjustment to Back compression Fuel injectors. Company murk nahi hai jo nahi deti. Haa Filter hai jaroor par uske pores jyada bade hai jisse hawa andar aaye usse dust aa hi jati hai andar. Jaha regular filter 5000 kms pe service karni padti hai ye filter bikes thode jaldi karne padti hai. Baat ko samjho aur fir video banao. Khud ka bhi seize karogi engine aur dusro ka bhi karoge baad mein bologe Suzuki engine kharab hai.

@@MotoStromImran i am also a vstrom owner. Ye filter leke kuch return on investment nahi hai khas. 5000 ka filter leke 0.05 hp badhane mei kya fayda

Bro...even i oreder BMC air filter,but it's not fitting properly,side gaps are there...during rainy,chances of water go inside....r u facing same issue? Stock perfectly fits..

Yes the fitting of stock is better, still as the bmc filter has rubber edges it seal packs the filter when you fit the cover properly. So dont worry. How is your experience with it? Tbh mine is not so positive.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to be honest to install this.. as i dont see much difference after putting 5000rs

@@MotoStromImran Thanks for your honest opinion. I recently changed to iridium plug, after which I could notice impressive changes on smoothness at higher rpms and at low rpms as well. Thought of having the bmc air filter to further enhance the smoothness. But your experience now makes me think.
