Hi Nick. Very nice review! I do like seeing these kind of reviews where you take a mini PC and put in an Android OS on it. Best of both worlds! If you continue the trend of reviewing mini PCs, I'd be interested in seeing a review on the Beelink U57 Intel Core i5-5257u 2.7GHz, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD. Would be interested to see what kind of benchmarks that will produce with an Andriod OS installed. Thanks!

Using samba server I assume. I have never tried it on X86 before. But on Windows once you share the drive you will be able to access it over network

I left instructions in the txt file inside the zip file. Which says: 1.Select setup from PC/tablet 2.Using you PayPal account pay exactly 12 EURO to www.paypal.me/ATVx86 3.You will receive and email with download link and "serial code" to activate the OS 4.Return to setup wizard and enter your PayPal email and serial code provided 5.The TV app store inside the apps section also uses the same login details to access apps Remember to subscribe to my channel and credit the developer for his hard work

Vlc player doesn't support digital audio output .. Dont test with VLC media player on android

Hi, you are the second person in two days that has made this claim which is totally incorrect. The VLC player is one of the few players that can play all media that's in digital surround sound formats. Simply go into the audio settings, and enable the checkbox that says audio passthrough. While you are there you can even set hardware acceleration to full. And that's it any video with digital formats will play. In all my videos where I perform a surround sound test on my receiver I did it the VLC player, which confirms that what you are saying is incorrect. The other two players that can play surround sound audio formats are Kodi and the MX player Pro. However Kodi cannot play the digital audio videos that are in the format of "TS" and the MX player Pro you have to pay for. So I hope you understand that the VLC player will not play digital audio formats without enabling audio passthrough in the settings area.

I have 3 boxes that 3 boxes gives 3 type quality ..we are using same tv same video but different different boxes .. I noticed different quality on different boxes.. Example mi box 4k Was videos playing smoothly but colour quality was either less or more vivid.. I have tested 3 days for quality issues.. But not great ..no one noticed that quality.. because they don't have multiple tv boxes to compare video quality .. So please do video quality tests for next videos.. Thank you i hope you understand..

Yes that is a great point. The thing is different boxes have different color schemes and GPU Open GL ES versions which affects display quality. Also HDR and Dolby Vision matters and also affects picture quality. So playing smooth does not mean the best quality. One box that is testament to that is the A95X F3 RGB that I have tested. Picture quality is great compared to higher ranked models.

Yes but the 480p version only. Did you know that Android 12 X86 has been released. Download it here it's great - sourceforge.net/projects/blissos-dev/files/Android-Generic/PC/aosp/gapps/12/android_x86_64-a12_r27-03.04.22-01-mesa22-ksu-gapps-treble-libndk-sleep-sd-libva.iso/download I will be making a video using it soon.

Yes if you install Netflix from the Microsoft store or use it in a browser, it works but I believe it will be restricted to HD 1080p and that you will not get 4K.

Android 9 oreo? Then what is android pie?

@@LanceMan this PC is limited by it's physical HDMI port, so even running in Windows it will only play Netflix HD (1080p).

Wow! It scores 138k on AnTuTu in android X86 os!!! That's so fast, then useless if 4k is not supported, Netflix and Amazon Prime plays @ 480p :/ and HDR is also not supported!!!! So, what's the point? Also graphics are squeezed down in Android x86 so even those nonsense android games are a no go!!!! So unless anybody plans to play silly android benchmarks all day long this mini pc is only usable with win10! I am sure if google assistant is the gain here, 20Euro on google home mini isn't than much right? if you wanna use an assistant to browse then there is another lady called Cortana! No offense here, but I had enough with all android tv bullst I see on the web! There are those that won't play Netflix/ Amazon (android os) and those that won't let you use skype/ messenger (or anything else) with a webcam (android TV)!!! I wonder is this still 20 years ago???? Google wake up!

I totally understand your critical points, Android X86 is a personal project. However, did you know you can install other operating systems also other than android? In my video which is about TV boxes of course, I try to highlight the possibilities you have with these mini PCs as a means to peak interest and to push for further development which is slow in coming. These topics help my channel grow and help the manufacturer or brand sell their product. Thanks for your comment my next video is another one.
