Well, the musicality of all three dancers are honestly monstrous, and I don't think people can really compare them, considering they have different ways of depicting it. STYLES; That being said, you've gotta' look at the Styles before anything else. Bluprint is "basically" mastered Animation, constantly known for his amazing and synchronized use of props which are normally accessories/clothing. He's learned to integrate that into his Animation. He also tuts almost constantly when he dances, however he changed it up by using more than just his hands to tut. Like the first clip of Bluprint, he actually uses his head along with his tutting, and his torso. Laurent is just.. Laurent. His style contains voguing, krump, animation, contemporary, and the general term "Hip-Hop" should be applied as well. We also see him pull off some urban moves, and is not afraid to use that "stripper" mentality of his. His leg strength is beyond scary and frequents moves on the floor, I'd consider most of his moves on the floor as animation when you take into account the synchronization of specific body parts, and sometimes a smooth glide across the floor. He's giving a sort of robotic feel to it. Larry's style is pretty basic when you put it next to his brothers, but that does not go on to speak about its effectiveness. Larry thrives on dancing in a way that other people can easily pick up on how he's deciphering the beat. His footwork speaks miles as he's able to keep up with many Chicago House dancers including King Charles. But that's not his MO, trust me.. People believe this mainly because of the video that distinguishes Larry from Laurent, but in reality, that's only for comparison purposes. Larry's MO is a hard and aggressive krump style mixed with a sprinkle of animation and urban. His footwork is only a gracious compliment. LARRY vs. Laurent; Now, if you pressed the "Read More" button and is now petrified by that long array of letters, THIS is the part that really counts. You can't enter Bluprint in the equation without first pitting Larry vs. Laurent against each other. When you put each style next to each other, you also have to consider consistency. Unfortunately, no matter how much you love his dynamo mixed with sassiness attitude, this is where Laurent falls behind. I'm speaking long-term, because I'm aware at how much both twins have been snapping recently. Laurent has been known to fall behind sometimes, similar to how he did in Ghetto Styles 2014 competition. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not hating.. I love Laurent and I have a explanation. When you look at the Juste Debout competition, you'll see that Laurent was the enigma that led them to the W. Back when Criminalz went up against those Krump crews, Laurent was the enigma. Why is that? Dancing was nowhere as popular as it is now, and really.. Breakdancing was basically the top of the ladder when it came to styles. Moves that are explosive and dynamic. I'm not saying that explosive moves have no standing nowadays, I'm only saying that technicalities are paid attention to more. Someone with insane musicality and a subtle, technical way of showing it can win competitions now. Sorry, but unless it was a exclusively "Hip-Hop" competition (which when categorized does not include Breakdancing), a technical dancer wouldn't stand a chance against other styles. Well.. mostly breakdancing. ANYWAYS, my point is Laurent's style is dynamic, death drops, jumping splits, his signature spinning death drop on one foot, these are things that hyped people up. Larry did have his signature one leg death drop, but really his style seemed slow when put next to Laurent. However there is one thing you CANNOT deny about Larry, he was always consistent with his dance. He always brought a nice form of technicality whereas back then you wouldn't say "HOLY SHIT" like you would for Laurent, but you will gasp and go "Wow" watching Larry. FINAL COMPARISON; If you read through all of THAT, understand, you cannot hold up an argument like this saying "Well look at Laurent in this video, and this one, and this one", because.. well you can do the same for Larry. YOU have to look at their dancing at a long-term POV. Basically my point is, not only has the interest in dance and other styles aside from breakdancing increased (meaning people would enjoy Larry's technicalities more), Larry has also improved by a LARGE margin. So has Laurent yes, but Laurent improved more so in his portrayal of small, subtle movements or ticks, increasing his level of versatility. Overall, I believe Larry trumps his brother. Now we have to include Bluprint. Bluprint is just as consistent as Larry, mainly due in part to his style. So what do we look at here? Well, imagine both of them were on a stage similar to the one in the King Charles/Prince JRON, Les Twins battle... What stands out most? Well, I'll tell you for a fact Bluprint's MO of standing in one spot (typically) won't work here. I understand, Bluprint's upper body animation and tutting speaks for miles and that alone could stand up to Larry's style.. But if they were to battle to the utmost of their ability, Larry's footwork, well-timed krumping, and use of the floor will outshine Bluprint. I'm sorry but Bluprint isn't explosive enough to me, it's just his portrayal of musicality that makes you say "Wtf, that was smooth as shit". Larry's musicality not only MATCHES Bluprint's, but Larry adds spice and flair with his footwork and krumping. His overall body control is better. OVERALL IF YOU DID NOT WANT TO READ ANY OF THIS, my final judgement goes in Larry's favor. He's tried and true against every style including his brother's. Do not reply about how I'm wrong unless you've read this entire comment.

Bluprint is very exact in his movement. I think, he`s got to liberate himself more from pop-locking style and take this precise-smooth style into other horizons... THEN Les Twins will really have to watch out! I love them all 8-)

@Suinade I loved yr breakdown of styles. I love seeing it written (I'm a writer). I always find it interesting that people rarely articulate comparisons between the emotions conveyed through dance, because it's a huge part of the impact on the viewer. Bluprint tells mostly abstract stories that fit his style, Animation. I like him better than most animation dancers, his fluidity is beautiful and he's also very witty at times like 5:09 or those hat moves, stuff that would be useful in battles these days. His latest WOD in Atlanta 2018 had more feeling and he's incorporated a tiny bit of New Style, more facial expressions, dancing at times to vocals in the music. Larry's has a lot of slo-mo and hyper bravado, with the fuck-you's and can-you-believe-this-shit, you can see the Krump influence. He acknowledges his audience when he's dancing, which he can do because of insane recall for lyrics and sounds. Like you said, he often interprets lyrics literally, which draws the audience into the song as well. And he mixes in humour and pop, which makes him both entertaining and intimidating. Laurent seems to often tell stories about pain and sensuality and madness, (which is why he's my favourite, I find him the most cinematic.) He does this with his ticks and expressions and his vast array of physical choices and spontaneity. He can go into character and not come out of it, getting into really deep creative zones, using almost any dance move/tool at his disposal. Ie. the Animation he used in that last clip (13:07 that King Charles points at) is no joke. As I said I'm a writer not a dancer, so that might help explain some of my biases. And it might also help explain Les Twins popularity with non-dancers. Thanks Suinade, you helped deepen my appreciation for all the styles and history.

Don't compare the three please, unless we actually see them battling against each other. One thing though, Laurent can do everything Larry can do and more, however the reverse cannot be said, but all three are Legendary. If I had to choose to reign alone, it would be Laurent, no offense to Larry & Blueprint lovers / believers. Also, remember this, when you see Laurent barely do any floor routines, it's because he's injured, he's had a lot of knee problems throughout the years.

The twinz have have never amazed me like bluprint has but they are great nonetheless. I just dont like the arrogance. Sometimes they dance like they are too good and it takes away their performance at times.

That's good to hear, community could use more of that positivity. They're both one of my fav dancers too, hard to compare. Blu excels in the creativity category (prob more than any other dancer), but LT excel at being extremely well-rounded. No objective way to say one's better than the other.

Ken Inao Actually. The reason why I dont see you around that much is probs cause im not watching the same dancers i did last year. I mean, I still am, but not as often as before. Im more focused on some of the more unkown, underrated, underground dancers cause I can never really just keep watching a single set of dancers for a long time. I'll naturally come back to watch their vids eventually. But I always take a break from them time and time again so that i could keep the open minded thinking. New and different dancers are always great. Especially when they're insanely good and talanted dancers who kill their freestyles despite the lack of fame. A great example of this being Hozin. His musicality is honestly on Hoan's level imo. Crazy to see how creative he is for a dancer who mainly does popping. Another mention I can think of right now is a very young dancer. A child who could very well go head to head with other kid prodigies of dance like Criminalz Crew very own Rubix, or lil Blade, or even Kidda the Great. ReiNa, a japanese dancer, check her out if you have time man. She has a very captivating style. Multiple styles, old-school hip hop, great foot work and some trendy moves that add some flavor to her style. I'm not going to compare them, cause its really biased to just assume that one is better or one could beat another dancer. But I definitely think that ReiNa, for her age, is really good. She's even had a 2v2 against Icee and Alex. Ofc she lost but still goes to show that she has experience battling vets and legends. If you're gonna look her up, make sure when you're searching for: "ReiNa" to add "Queen me" cause there arent many vids of her and they're not that popular so adding her crew is best way to find most videos of her battles. Hopefully you read all of this and check her out, if not, oh well. I tried lol

.......clearly you haven’t seen Bluprint’s videos. These are random battle rounds that go back many years. Don’t let your love of the Twins, limit your viewpoint. In almost 40 years of hip hop, .....I have never seen a dancer with “more” musicality than Bluprint. Larry comes in a close 2nd, though. If you get a chance, ....give his videos a shot.

Micah Atkins foreal. blu is far more cleaner than les twins when it comes to musicality. moves are more smooth. les twins are good but their style is usually built off being two of em one hyping the other up. sparatic movements that are not clean and make no sense. isolations weak. waves not as clean and glides are okay. their style is meant to get the crowd and each other as hype as they can with soft then straight sparatic powermoves. blu just can't dance to sounds or songs not geared to that style he can fully showcase his skills

The Les Twins fan base needs to educate themselves on the culture of hip hop. The constant d*ck riding is annoying, but somewhat understandable. We get it. Both are next level dancers & have earned their popularity (especially Larry) But......... they are not the creators of what they do. They too. are heavily influenced by other dancers...past & present. It’s impossible to watch any other standout’s videos without a comments section flooded with Twins cheerleaders. Most of the feedback amounts to unfair comparisons or disrespectful claims that he or she “got their moves from les Twins”. In fact, Bluprint & the Twins shouldn’t ever be judged in talent, skill, or anything more than one’s personal preference. Bluprint (like Skitzo) is a direct product of hip hop in America (ground zero). Street kids who came up street dancing. The battles (as seen in this video) were completely authentic and creativity wasn’t limited by technicality. The culture at it’s finest. Let’s not devalue or discredit Bluprint or Les Twins by commercial standards, sponsored competitions, or the opinion of ill informed You Tubers.

Well the same could be said about the majority of hip-hop dancers regarding other style of dances. The thing Les Twins have to me is that they implement a wide array of styles that make really fun to watch even by people who are not hip-hop aficionados to start with. Dudes like Bluprint are cool but they lack that theatricality and storytelling that The Twins have from wherever they got that from.

I am tires of people going with les twins cause they are famous instead of looking at the fame or who is your favorite dancer actually comment on who would actually win with that being said bluprint is god in animation les twins is just freaking awesome but in reality if they had a legit battle I think bluprint would actually win the battle in atl was nothing people kept getting in way twins was stopping the music that is not a battle it's hard to actually get in your zone when you have people messing with the battle itself

People don't like Les Twins just because they're famous lol they like them for the reason they got famous which is their dancing! Les Twins are just more captivating and they are better entertainers! They can get on a stage with thousands of people in the crowd and the place will be jumping! Could you imagine Bluprint on a stage trying to entertain, it would be awkward as fuck. Bluprint is very talented, don't get me wrong, but the twins just have something about them that a lot of people love. Both are great dancers so much respect to everyone.

Pitifullaughs TV Yea world of dance which is a bunch a dancing fans there to watch dance. But could bluprint go to a nightclub and have the whole club jumping like the twins do? I think not. He gets up on a WOD stage and does his 2 or 3 min PRE PLANNED CHOREGRAPHY and he's off. The twins can go to a club and FREESTYLE , sing and have the club jumping for hours. Believe me, I've been there.

Grayson Overholt I'm pretty sure bluprint could do exactly that. Think about it. The twins don't just go to any "club" if they did I'm pretty sure nobody would just stop having fun to watch them XD. They're are great dancer, don't get me wrong but they are people who still can beat them. They are overrated. Nice moves, dope style but popularity would help them win most of the time honestly.

Kevin Paradox is a consistently better freestyle battler. I don't think the term "best dancer(s)" is ever really apt. I won't even go so far as to say Kevin is the best dancer, despite his win rate across the world. Same goes for tight eyez and a number of others. I watch a lot of Les Twins, however, as my history can prove and Laurent must be injured or undergoing a style change because he hasn't been showing me anything lately.
