it stays where u put it. so just retry to make it filtered byt adding more water or dump it

Think about what you just said. If you dump dirty water on top of dirty water in the tank then you're increasing the concentration of bad stuff which would reduce the filtration of the water coming out. IE the concentration of stuff coming out of it would be higher. ​@@legionaryeq

The system pulls in the amount of clean water it needs (half the tank) and the waste water goes back into the tank where it is then no longer used.

I don’t know why mine doesn’t fill up the caraf all the way. 😢
