It’s a beautiful unit!! The expansion capacity is what makes this equipment so amazing. That they improved the recharge time on AC makes this much more attractive. I invested in a few smaller ecoflow power stations, primarily due to the fast recharge and they are easy for me to use and understand. Being able to run them inside to keep whatever you want running over night is pretty fantastic. The larger capacity is great for longer run times, but they take a long time to recharge on solar. I think Bluetti handles more solar input than ecoflow so your solar input is more efficient. While these are an investment, so is the food they are protecting in terms of running fridge and freezers. I started using mine to run different things around the house to remove stuff from the grid to reduce the electric bill. In the course of using my power stations I have learned a lot about how they work and what the capabilities really are. It’s been a good learning experience to see what life would really look like having to run on backup power for any extended time frame. I’ve had a couple outages this year and the power stations were amazing to use. It’s expensive but we live in a storm zone and I’m keeping more food on hand than I usually would. I do have a gas generator as well but I love these solar generators.

Definitely a good investment. Great video Eric Tip: If you built a isolated box (open bottom) on top of your freezer powered by the Bluetti, it will become cold inside like a refrigerator.

For the price of one of these you can buy the top of the line Honda generator that sips gas and is whisper quite . Also when it comes to customer service you can always buy parts at your Honda dealer . And as far as longevity you can give it to your grand kids after you die . Ask any small engine mechanic they will always say Hondas are the best

Adding two B230 battery units will get you to 6144 Wh total. To get the full 8192 Wh that you stated, you need to add two B300 units (3072 Wh each) instead of the B230 units. Just a clarification.

This is my second comment from 9 days ago. I had ordered one that day and not only did we have a thunderstorm but it developed into a massive thunderstorm with a tornado and the power went off completely. Last week I ordered the expansion battery and believe it or not we had another power failure for half a day. If I order anything more from this company and we have another power failure I'm going to take that as an omen. Both units were on super sale $800 Canadian off the main unit and $400 off the expansion battery.

There is one feature that is suboptimal. it is not possible to run a freezer or fridge on it to just safeguard from blackouts. Because it will constantly discharge and recharge and that reduces the battery lifetime, at least somewhat.

I have one. They are great units but no where near worth the asking price. The flaws are number 1, the battery draw, you'll lose a lot just having the inverter on. 2 nd flaw. What's the point of having a ac charger that doesn't charge at the maximum charge rate. 500 Watts is a joke.

If you’re buying one of these Bluetti units you better start prepping for how to repair it if it fails out of warranty. Mine just died four months out of warranty and I’ve been trying for a month to find out how to get it fixed. After a dozen useless email exchanges with them all I’ve ever gotten was it’s out of warranty we can’t help you. Now I’m totally unprepared and out a thousand dollars.

Eric, people can barely feed themselves or put gas in their cars right now, let alone buy a generator that cost a bundle. I imagine you get to keep that generator for doing this video and I truly am happy for you and the family. I’ve noticed this with other KZread influencers as well. Once they start making money, they get new products and start reviewing them. It just makes me sad for those of us that aren’t able to afford such things.
