The panels have worked very well even in low sun and cloudy periods. Averaging 200 watts of charge.

I have been getting over 300 watts of charge on sunny but winter days in Canada.

I have a PV350 and AC200P. Both are excellent. Bluetti has very good customer service. Not fast but very good. I would not call either one lightweight at 31 lbs for the panel and 61 lbs for the AC200P.

Yes, while I owned my Bluetti equipment it all worked great. Decided I needed a more configurable easily upgradable system so I installed a Victron system in my RV. Cheers Rob

I noticed the bottom started to show a lot of wear after not that many uses, especially when used on asphalt. I now put the panel on a tarp to protect the bottom.

What did Bluetti have to say about the problem?

I haven’t noticed any issues with wear on my panels. Maybe asphalt might be a little bit to coarse. I will keep an eye on mine.

Sad to see that the PV350 is priced on the expensive side compared to other 350W solar panels.

One thing I don't like about the PV350 is that it is only water-resistant and not waterproof.

Actually there aren’t any portable panels of this format that are waterproof like a glass panel.

After some further research on IP65 rating I found out if you did leave it out in the rain it wouldn’t harm it. Some others youtube reviews have stated they have left these panels out in the rain for extended periods without any issues.

The most important spec on a solar panel is the Voc. This solar panel will fry over 90% of the power stations out there with an Open Circuit Voltage of over 46 volts.

  • @WATCHLLS

Fortunately most solar generators have VOC over voltage protection in place.

@@WATCHLLS Yes, but unfortunately the 'over voltage protection' only works with a small over voltage amount and not that well at that. I learned this the hard way, lol. So this solar panel will fry most typical power stations (and of course solar controllers). Most people have a much smaller power station than an AC200 Max (which can easily accept 46 volts).

@@laronis I would hope most folks read the spec sheets before hooking up there equipment. I’m retired IT so I do. Cheers

@@laronis Is there a work around for this? A device to lower that voltage.

  • @laronis

@@WATCHLLS That is a good point and the answer is no, many do not. Some will then damage their equipment and then they post complaints even though they hooked up equipment together they should not have, but even I have made that mistake, it is easy to forget or miss. I do a lot of reviews of solar panels and some of the manufacturers do not even post their parameters. It is absolutely amazing to me, the Voc is so important to know when buying a panel. How on earth can you sell a solar panel without the specs???
