Small addition, if you use USB (power) from your PC it also supports sound -by-usb (be aware that overrules analog/optical input!).

Thanks! Don't get much reviews on this unit anywhere else. Was there any discernable difference in audio quality compared to other bluetooth transmitters/receivers? since it has a built in DAC?

The manual doesn't state a thing but a commenter on Amazon says the following: "Some people, including 1mii support, have answered this here that is does indeed support AAC. I don’t know if that is TX & RX? didn’t believe it supports AAC, just registers as SBC via status light on the unit, for example when receiving FROM an iPhone. That said, the 1mii B03 Pro that has the upgraded DAC sounds terrific when receiving even the SBC sound because of the 32 bit / 384 kHz DAC. It upsamples somehow, I think… or it does really receive unaltered AAC from iPhone and decodes it. For transmitting from the unit TO headphones, it is either taking the analog (using an ADC) or SPDIF digital input and sending via Bluetooth codec supported by the receiving device (Bluetooth headphones/speaker). If you have the Sony XM4, AND it truly supports AAC (no way to see on 1mii lights), it should be AAC. I have the XM3’s which strangely support SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC. don’t know why Sony dropped aptX on the XM4. The transmission to my XM3’s does show the AptX and HD lights on the 1mii, so I guess I “know” it is aptX HD. Hope this helps."

Hi, all my wall mount speakers’ wire is in the basement. I bought a Bluetooth receiver to connect those wire , but it only work in phone. Since my tv is on 1st floor it doesn’t catch Bluetooth signal . So I bought this 1Mii B310. It works well in phone but tv doesn’t catch signal again. If i stand next to tv and try connect my phone to 1Mii , it works but not tv. Any help???

No, record players require a preamp input which includes built in "deemphasis" EQ curve to compensate for the preemphasis curve present on all records (also known as the "RIAA curve"), so you should only use a phono preamp input. If you plug a turntable output direct to regular RCA aux inputs, the signal will be very quiet, plus it will sound incredibly shrill/tinny and lack almost all of its bass.

You didn't mention the best feature of all, IMO. I needed a device to amplify my Bluetooth signal around my house, and the Bluetooth that comes with my PC is really only good for the same room. With this device in TX mode, I can broadcast a Bluetooth signal all over my house. This is really useful because I'll play a podcast on my main PC and I can listen to it all over the house with my headphones, as I move around.

From 1Mii's information it seems that this doesn't support LDAC -- they list available codecs as: aptX-HD, aptX-LL, aptX, FS, SBC. AAC and LDAC are not listed. The ESS SABRE DAC isn't a codec, it's the chip that converts the digital signal to audio. If you want more info on the ESS DAC it's model 9018Q2C
