Really cool project! Congratulations on 400k 😎
Amazing, project I wanted to do something like this for years. Thank you for all the info, the schematics and basically everything !
Congrats on 400 bro Edit: You might change buttons logic so the curtain extends/retrieves to its extent considering you have their positions stored. So we don't need to hold the button for the whole 20 seconds.
I really enjoyed this project Andrei. From time to time in an Arduino group I see people searching for motorized curtains. I imagine this could be adapted to controlling curtains of different sizes. You did a fantastic job! For some reason the video description that shows up for me is the coin selector you did previously. Maybe it's just a KZread glitch? Thanks for sharing!
Great project. It always amazes me the way you solve the problems. Keep up the good work!
Great Video as always 👌🏾 Your one of my favorite electronics Chanel on KZread
This is the content we want...👍🏼
Absolutely nice improvement you have done over there ! Next step is to let the system work with voice commands :)
Wow, this is great, thank you very much!
Great video, man! I just bought roller blinds for my new flat yesterday and was wondering about doing this!
Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this!!!
I love your 3d prints from blender and your accent. They both came out very nice

Pretty awesome project.!
Sağ ol dostum, sayende perde asma derdi bitti, sökme derdi başladı.
Great project!
Such an awesome build. I got so lost at the soldering part.
Awesome work 👍
Great project!!!!!
Nice design 💚
I love it!💯💪😎
This is excellent thank you
Very cool, thank you
Today you're the winner...
Very very nice !!
A genius idea 👏🏻👏🏻 I also want to be a youtuber im more into arduino and wireless projects this will really help me with my messed up room. thanks a lot

Wow wow wow wow you liked my comment
It's a great idea to use for windows. If you add a light sensor, it can auto close when the sun light is bright.
Thank you to the idea
Thank you brother...
Nice project. I have been experimenting with automating my blinds myself. I wonder why you didn't use a motor with gears that would allow you to disconnect the motor from the power supply. A good reduction ratio or even a worm gear would've been enough to hold the curtains in place without the coils being energized
Very clever man
You're just so cool
you could use trinamics stall detection and get rid of the hall sensor
This is amazing. Maybe swap the arduino and bluetooth module with an esp32 so it could be controlled over WiFi. Then have it listen for api calls from either a stream deck or similar device. This might be overkill but using nylon lock nuts would reduce the chances or anything coming loose overtime.
I've just done something similar for my vertical blinds using 28BYJ-48 5v geared stepper motors and a nodemcu controlled by alexa. I tried a nema 17 but it was too noisy and bulky. The current setup is only about the size of the nema on it's own.
Very nice video
Great project! I'm just wondering why not using an ESP32 microcontroller in here as it already has WiFi/BT support :)
i wanna give you 1000 like for this awesome video
Happy Easter, my brother in Christ! Do you use any add-ons on Blender 3D? Love the work you do. MOO
Great.......
Very very good idea and working but I trust that you can make it more professional in mechanical parts (more nicely to see because it works very well)
I wonder if it could be made smaller also I am waiting on some ESP-01's from aliexpress for another project , to add wifi to my roomba by using a code to make it emulate a belkin wemo , I wonder if you could use the arduino to make 2 presets for the stepper motor , figure out how many turns to raise it and how many turns to lower it and then have one pin for triggering each setting , and then connect the esp-01 output trigger pins to those input trigger pins , so you can have one press up and one press down and control it with Alexa/Google home , I am not sure if the code I am going to use supports emulating 2 separate belkin wemo devices or if it can be added so that it can emulate 2 devices and use 2 pins though maybe it could be set up in an arduino sketch so that turning on = shade up and turning off = shade down for the stepper the project for the ESP-01 and the roomba is called "Roomba voice control with Alexa and Belkin-Wemo emulator"
please share an idea or video on horizontal curtain movement please..
bonjour et encore merci pour t'es tutoriels excellent comme d’habitude, existe t'il un moyen pour avoir un 49E Hall supplémentaire pour avoir aussi un arrêt moteur en butée haute et rendre le tout automatique. hello and thank you again for your excellent tutorials as usual, is there a way to have an additional 49E Hall to also have an engine stop at the top stop and make everything automatic.
Great project! I'm really interested in your Android app. Would you consider sharing the source code and explain your development environment? Thanks!
Nice desgin - don't you fear the PLA tearing off due to friction ?
Nice
Please 🙏 explain the principal of radio control or principal of antenna
Interesting project. Isn't stepper motor enough here? Do you still need the gear? Also, if you are using Arduino Nano, can't you just use software stepper driver instead of physical one? Nano has plenty of memory for that.
Please, make an mppt solar charger video for li-ion batteries. 🙏
Amazing ! can u send me schematic of pcb electric curtain
nice project, I was trying to do similar project before. btw, for the 3D printing, what material do you use? ABS or PTEG?
@razredge68

He mentioned that the 3D printed parts are made from PLA.
cool
What happens on sleep pin enabled?? Will the screen falls off.
I want this, but in my windows. Any way to make them smaller?
hola amigo, quizás puedas hacer uno que se abra de forma horizontal xfa gracias
Nice project. I wonder if there is a way to make it more power efficient. The power supply hat to be always on for this to work. This an issue I also have at home. So far I have no good solution

Why not use a worm gear to make it not backdrivable and you can unplug the power supply.

It depends. If you want to keep the motor at a certain position you need to engange the motor to use the holding torque. In this case this is especially important as the second wood pole is alwys drawing downward. But you can use some gear mechnism, friction or a solonoid to get around this. Still the Arduino and the blue tooth always drawing power. Wouldn't it be nice to have an ESP32 in deep sleep, that checks evere 10s or so of the user wants to activate the motor mechanism via the app.that than activates the power? It is a bit complicated but overall it should save a lot of power.

@@electricalychalanged4911 I have a Tuya Wifi blind (I anticipate selling the house with this one in place) that is battery powered. Haven’t opened it up as there is no obvious way, but the wifi module is separate. I assume the wifi module and blind module talk using a proprietary low energy protocol. That is how I imagine they solved that part of the power problem. Not sure how the motor works but it has upper and lower limits (even if no blind is attached) and the speed is so constant it can’t be a simple motor. At the very least there is a speed feedback loop and a timer.
I have made this exelent project, but i used a TB6560 motor driver and it didn't work .??????have you a tip for me
Wow
Hey Electronoobs !!! Your followers from India Can you make 3 phase sine wave vfd with arduino.
How long will the PLA last?
hi, really loved your projects. i actually have one question on my mind regarding this project which is is it possible to use a smart home system such as google home to control this?
@ELECTRONOOBS

Probably with an ESP32 and wifi

ESP32 and Tasmota should be an option
Is there a way toget alexa to work with it?
Can you make it to work with an iPhone?
Please Explain how to make a led Cube
Why not use esp32 instead of bluetooth module + arduino?
Why didn't you use an ESP32 or some other wireless module that has Bluetooth built in?
Yey first
Alexa support would be useful then you can just tell it to open or close.
Don't you think, using a stepper motor was a bit overkill. You could have easily used a dc geared motor as the alternative.
Hello i want to do the project but the engine is not running Can you help.
i wish it can that be integrated with alexa/ google.
No longer an electronoob, more like an electroPro
Interesting project. I have been wanting to make a green screen and this sounds like a good way to do it. Will you PLEASE tell me WHY you have bananas in your videos????????????????

🌹🌟🌹👍
You do amazing things, but it's 2022, please let arduino and Bluetooth go, use wifi and esp.
I am New
I wonder why you still use Bluetooth modules when wifi modules are much cheap and versatile?
i wanna do the same thing but for pergola which will be horizantal not vertical as urs, so which motor/mechanism should i use? i want to pull the sun-shade via motor. Watch this video and u will understand what im talking about. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oIKkyrimepzZn9Y.html
bro its time to step up. Please stop using those ancient arduino bluetooth modules and start using node mcu
Is this an scamming, spoofing site you made -- electronoobs, which periodically opens another tab with ads if clicked anywhere on the page? And it shows fake notification permission popup. You have ads all over the pages, still are you not satisfied! That's good that you spend time to share your knowledge and skill, but at the same time, i don't know what kind of educated engineering mind it is to make a site like this!
Nice
