I would use this fist mic while driving and monitoring/reporting to my Zello storm spotter channels, however, can I listen through my car speakers via the car's bluetooth connection, but use the fist mic as my transmission mic to zello, or do I need a mic that is more programmable?

I have been using it whilst driving, my phone connects only to a single Bluetooth device at a time, so I have to either connect it to the car audio or the Bluetooth mic. I always leave it connected to the Bluetooth Mic if I have Zello running. Thanks for watching :) Ivo

Will this work on a cellphone with uhf and dmr radios in it? Just bought the unithertz atom xl and want to find a Bluetooth mic that can be used with my work radio

Hi you can use it as hands-free but quality of the phone call isn't great.

@@hamradiotime Happy new year and just earlier arrived my non-branded ptt BT speaker I have successfully connected it and added the ptt button to make it work with Zello on my Android phone but I cannot see an other button working as described in the manual. Any idea about the other buttons or they work only when using a dedicated POC radio? In my manual there is also some firmware description but without any links etc Any information about the above would be appreciated Thanks again Georgios

Hi, you have to change the Zello channel from your phone or internet radio.

Can i push the ptt with the phone screen off and it will ptt to the last contact?

Yes, it goes to lastchannel, depending on your Zello settings.

is't possible to use bluetooth earphone for the sound and use this device only for mic and ptt function?

Hi, thanks for watching! Yes you can use it as a Bluetooth speaker to play some music once it is paired with your phone. The quality of the sound is not superb but decent enough to play may be talk radio.

You can choose the playback device within Zello. This could be a Bluetooth headset, or your car's stereo. I tested this with a different PTT device on Android Zello and both work.

Think this would work as a normal microphone for windows?

I haven't tried that, good idea 💡 Doubt that the PTT would work with the desktop version of zello.

I think you're right. I'm having an issue with mine. I ordered one a few days ago to use for work. I can hear Zello traffic just fine. When I transmit, my words are chopped up and some words are skipped completely. It only happens with the ptt connected. If I just use the Zello app with my phone, no issues. It sucks too, would be nice to be hands free for work (I do security).
