Which is also why I hate how everyone took it out on him! The only cats who could have possibly lost more when she died were her kits, but Goosfeather and Moonflower literally grew up together. Everyone ganging up to blame her death on him was awful.

@@roseshards I never liked him to much :') especially after Crookedstar's Promise. Crooked(storm at the time) and Oak were outside of camp somehow, and they for some reason thought spying on Goosefeather sense he was in their territory getting herbs, I believe something happened(it's been awhile), and then Goosefeather tries to chase and grab a Crooked and tells him he isn't getting away. Then he is chasing Crooked and then Crooked is running across some rocks, and he slips and falls breaking his jaw, before somebody comes and gets him out. I hated Goosefeather ever since then-

Goosefeather padded from the medicine cat den, yawning. “How’d it go?” His eyes widened in surprise as Pinestar laid Moonflower on the ground in front of him and stepped back. “I don’t know if she managed to destroy their supplies before she died,” he growled. Goosefeather opened his mouth but no words came out. “You killed her!” Swiftbreeze’s screech took Bluepaw by sur- prise, and she flinched as the she-cat lunged at Goosefeather and knocked him to the ground, hissing at his face. “This time one of your ridiculous omens has killed one of your Clanmates!” “Stop!”Pinestar called. But Swiftbreeze had already raised her paw, claws un- sheathed. Adderfang and Tawnyspots streaked from the clearing and dragged Swiftbreeze off the shocked medicine cat. They held her back as Goosefeather scrambled to his paws and shook out his ruffled pelt. Larksong, Mumblefoot, and Weedwhisker had ventured from the tangled branches of the fallen tree. “You lost?” Larksong sounded as though she could hardly believe her eyes. Pinestar nodded. “We had to retreat . . . and Moonflower is dead.” A wail of grief came from outside the nursery. Poppydawn raced to Moonflower’s body and crouched over her, burying her nose in her pelt. “What’s wrong?” Thistlekit, Sweetkit, and Rosekit came scampering after her, slithering to a halt when they saw their mother grieving over Moonflower’s lifeless body. Sweetkit turned her big, round eyes on Bluepaw. “Is she really . . . dead?” She breathed. Bluepaw stared back, words stuck in her throat. She glanced at Snowpaw, but her sister was staring at the ground. Stonepelt stepped forward and glared at Goosefeather. “We should never have been sent into battle!” “I was only interpreting the signs from StarClan,” Goose- feather defended himself calmly. “Perhaps you should learn to interpret weather rather than prey.” Robinwing pushed ahead of Pinestar to join Stone- pelt. “Would StarClan have blessed a battle with a storm like that?” Sunfall narrowed his eyes, his gaze flicking to Adderfang and Stormtail. “Perhaps Goosefeather was more eager to sat- isfy his Clanmates’ wishes than those of StarClan.” Pinestar shouldered his way to the front. “Enough!” he growled. “Goosefeather is not to blame for our defeat. All warriors risk their lives for the sake of the Clan. It’s part of the warrior code. Our wounded need attention. Arguing won’t help them!” Featherwhisker hurried forward. “I’ll get more supplies.” He disappeared down the fern tunnel, followed quickly by Goosefeather. “You can hide from your Clanmates,” Swiftbreeze mut- tered under her breath. “It’ll be StarClan that judges you.” ~Bluestar’s Prophecy, pages 137-139

@@zeya8724 _Oh, if you're talking about the two cats walking in the start, they were Bluepaw and his sister, Snowpaw :). You can also see both in seconds __0:45__ (Bluepaw staring back, and glancing at her sister) - __0:47__ (But Snowpaw is staring at the ground and crying)_ *I was really confused xD, but the comment explaining the video helped me a lot!*

@@mojsvijet13 Starclan has proven time and time again that they’re corrupted Even since before Firestar joined Examples of this would be: -Informing Ravenwing of Mapleshade’s kits. Which really wasn’t even that necessary -Forcing Squrrielflight to take Leafpool kits -Deciding Tigerstar’s fate before he was pretty much even born - *Second life policy* -Refusing to give Nightstar his lives -Of course cursing Goosefeather -Not warning Bluestar about Tigerstar And many more reasons Hell The Broken Code and Squirrelflights Hope are also great examples of how Starclan sucks. Another user off a KZread video in the comment section even describes Starclan as a cult instead of a group of righteous cats, brainwashing and choosing certain cats to continue their legacy of being holy saints while punishing those who decide to speak out and realize what Starclan is doing is wrong.

Timberscar 9395 Well he did receive a prophecy that he misinterpreted as Windclan planning an attack on Thunderclan, The resulting battle caused Moonflower’s death. So yeah, he is to blame.

Am I the only one that gets angry whenever I see Swiftbreeze attacking Goosefeather and blaming him for the death of Moonflower? I remember reading Bluestar's prophecy and when Bluepaw was going to go and help Moonflower Swiftbreeze told her not to. In my opinion, it was Swiftbreezes fault for not helping Moonflower fight because she could have easily stepped in for Bluepaw and defended Moonflower. And when I read the scene in which she attacks Goosefeather I honestly wanted to shout that it was her fault for not stepping in to help Moonflower or letting Bluepaw help her mother. In a way, I dislike Swiftbreeze because of that scene and pity Goosefeather.

Interesting! I think it's Stormtail's fault because Stormtail went through a lot to save Dappletail, but when he trashed the medicine cat den w/ Moonflower he instantly bailed once they were caught. Moonflower was able to fend off the medicine cat for a long time and Stormtail didn't even bother defend her, even though they were both in the den. I don't know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now that you have mentioned it could also have been Stormtail's fault. What makes it worse was the fact that Stormtail was too much of a coward to even protect his own mate and I believe that the battle shows how little he cared about Moonflower. Swiftbreeze at least tried to defend Bluepaw but Stormtail didn't even try to help his own mate. In a way, I can see why you would think it was Stormtail's fault but I think the difference between Swiftbreeze and Stormtail is that Swiftbreeze tried to protect a young apprentice but didn't think about protecting said apprentice's mother while Stormtail was too much of a coward to help the cat that he was mates with.

I love this animation but like The way Moonflower’s body just flops down is kinda funny to me

You skipped the part that really got to me, the part where the queens cover her in mint and rosemary, and move her into a lively position. Bluepaw's reaction was the only time I've ever cried over a character death because of the night before the battle where Moonflower puts moss from her own nest into theirs and lays with them until they fall asleep.

[ ` We had to retreat . . . and Moon ‘ flower is dead. ` ] A wail of grief came from outside the nursery. Poppy ‘ dawn raced to Moon ‘ flower’s body and crouched over Her, burying Her nose in Her pelt. [ ` What’s wrong? ` ] Thistle ‘ kit, Sweet ‘ kit, and Rose ‘ kit came scampering after Her, slithering to a halt when they saw their mother grieving over Moon ‘ flower’s lifeless body. Sweet ‘ kit turned Her big, round eyes on Blue ‘ paw. [ ` Is She really . . . dead? ` ] She breathed. Blue ‘ paw stared back, words stuck in Her throat. She glanced at Her sister, but Snow ‘ paw is staring at the ground and crying. Stone ‘ pelt stepped forward and glared at Goose ‘ feather. [ ` We should never have been sent into battle! ` ] Stone ‘ pelt hissed. [ ` I was only interpreting the signs from Star ‘ Clan, ` ] Goose ‘ feather defended Himself calmly. [ ` Perhaps you should learn to interpret weather rather than Prey. ` ] Robin ‘ wing pushed ahead of Pine ‘ star to join Stone ‘ pelt. [ ` Would Star ‘ Clan have blessed a battle with a storm like That? ` ] Sunfall narrowed His eyes, His gaze flicking to Adder ‘ fang and Storm ‘ tail. [ ` Perhaps Goose ‘ feather was more eager to sat - isfy His Clanmates’ wishes more than those of Star ‘ Clan. ` ] Pine ‘ star shouldered His way to the front. [ ` Enough! ` ] He growled. [ ` Goose ‘ feather is not to blame for our defeat. All warriors risk their lives for the sake of the Clan. It’s part of The Warrior Code. Our wounded need attention. Arguing won’t help them! ` ] Feather ‘ whisker hurried forward. [ ` I’ll get more supplies. ` ] He disappeared down the fern tunnel, followed quickly by Goose ‘ feather. [ ` You can hide from your Clanmates, ` ] Swift ‘ breeze mut - tered under Her breath. [ ` But it’ll be Star ‘ Clan that judges you. ` ]
