Christian, all of your tutorials are good. Some are exceptionally good. Some are fantastic. And some are out of this world. This one belongs to the last category. It’s not only the music you play - which is really heart touching. It’ also the ideas you convey, and especially what you said at some point “It’s not just the notes, it’s how you play them. And don’t mind if you miss a note. It’s the Blues”. So true, but neglected by many piano players, who stick to the accuracy and miss the feeling. Maybe Blues was not invented in Germany :-), but for sure Blues Teaching flourishes in Berlin.

🎵Excellent tutorial Christian! Loads of licks, tips and techniques to keep us would be blues players on the ol' 88's occupied for hours. Everything clearly explained and demonstrated in detail. I can recommend a brand of tea called "Yorkshire", keeps we pianists going! Enjoyed this tutorial immensely, another winner here Christian. Excellent! 👍👋🎹🎵

I don't remember anymore the exact sequence of the comment, but something like.....thanks very much teaching the simplicity of blues piano even on more advanced sequences. As fluently you can play it ,to be able for that, one needs to digest it Even understanding all the theory of the lessons, its a lot of practise to achieve this fluent playing .Of course there are many other excellent youtubers on blues lessons, but none so precise which really helps for the practices....

Another great lesson! Gripping, that’s the word because before I knew it, I was trying all sorts of runs on this scale and chords until I was called downstairs for dinner. Before I left, I saluted my phone: thanks , Christian, this is a splendid piece of work!

Crazy question teacher, so us old dogs learning new tricks should think major blues for putting boogie in our blues and minor blues for putting a new coat of paint on our blues?
