    Nothing but warm memories with this song. I found five cassette tapes of my uncle and his Bluegrass band. I made them digital and now play right along with him.

    This is one of my favorite bluegrass songs. I think I’ve listened to every recorded version out there, and scores of live versions. But I have to say, Mr Hicks banjo break here is the prettiest I’ve heard. Well done!

    Minus having to look at an Auburn shirt, this was MIGHTY fine! 😉 I'm newly obsessed with bluegrass. Been playing rock blues and old country most of my Life but my goal now is to pick bluegrass til my last breath! Was raised on bluegrass and was young and "smarter" back then and found my own way, but it's funny how age will bring u back to your roots!

    Grew up doing this with family and neighbors. Now I can hardly make a chord because of nerve damage. I truly miss it. But so good to hear you guys and gals keeping up the tradition that made our kind of music so great. Thank you.

    Obviously everyone picks great here, but that bass imho, is exactly how a bass should sound and be played. Not busy, rock solid, sounds just right. What is that, a king mortone? Sounds great.

    Carlton Cupples no sir. It’s a late 50s 250 and the neck is an early 2000s frank Neat. I’m not sure what kind of ring is in it, but I don’t think it’s original.
