My brother in law and I were kayak fishing off the coast of NC last summer and got caught in a BAD storm. He got capsized, pulled out of my sight FAST, and was in the ocean for about 45 minutes before he was rescued. God was with us that day, but it was still TERRIFYING! Like Gabe said, if you’re on the ocean, and you see a storm coming, GET OFF THE WATER! Much love to you all ✌️

I was born in Florida and raised on the Big O ( Lake Okeechobee) and you see the clouds thats the time to head in. My dad and I did that went down the road about a half hour down and 3 tornadoes hit the area where we put in. Its no joke thats for sure. Happy Father's Day to you Bluegabe.

Funny you say off the lake by 2:00 pm. That was always my rule fishing out of Mayport Florida. Depending on weather patterns we would get those black clouds thunderstorms from west or east and sometimes south. Everybody be safe out there.
