During summer 2020 and summer 2021 we ave been seeing increasing numbers of tuna sightings. Just flashes on the surface near mackerel boil ups. However during very calm weather spells this year, strange wakes were seen on the surface. The swimming pattern suggested tuna, but it was only until we spotted a basking shark and passenger Jamie Small dipped her go pro in did we find a Bluefin has swam past the basking shark. A few days later a wake was spotted and Shane had the drone prepared ready to launch to add extra confirmation. The increasing number of sightings may be a factor in the odd weather patterns of 2021, a change in food, water temp. Check out the footage anyway!
