Everything James Lavelle has created and initiated has been driven by the same irrepressible sense of curiosity and an incorruptible willingness to take risks. The music released today under the banner of UNKLE is very different from early UNKLE records. The spirit is the same. They joined us at bluedot 2018 for a stellar show on our Orbit Stage.

That drummer deserves a medal for being on point. Don't get me wrong, I love UNKLE, but he was a trooper. He didn't miss a beat.

AWESOME CONCERT and excellent version of the ever enjoyable UNKLE... An special ovation for the drummer here... WOW! This guy is really good at coping with all of the rhythm changes and keeping up with the tempos.

The true genius of a great DJ revolves around the sampling, the timing, the cadence and most of all the selection of music and artists they choose to play with. Lavelle has demonstrated that he’s a master of all of these. Mad love to you James!

I was there then and up at the front too, they were way better when I saw them perform a full band set at Koko in Camden a year earlier which has now been released as UNKLE Live On The Road Koko, but this was still decent for what it was.
