On a set of construction documents. I'll create a text box "return to cover sheet" , right click, 'apply to every page', then I'll hyperlink it, right click on hyperlink 'apply to every page' and then I have a return to all my linked sheets on my cover sheet. It's nice for the engineer and contractors.

Oh awesome! I am actually starting a "Bluebeam with Liz" channel next weekend - and only doing bluebeam tips & tutorials there - I will let you know when I launch it!

I'm not going to watch the whole video because I don't actually use the software, but I do have to install it as part of my job on a corporate Service Desk so when I saw you tweet about it, I thought I'd at least take a look. I did want to say your video style is really good. It's easy to follow what you're doing, and I would definitely watch your videos if I needed to learn more about using this software.

OMG, you saved me so much heartache. I knew how to fix all this in Adobe but was lost in Bluebleam.. I knew it could be done but just didn't know all the steps.. you just saved me ton of time on a 1.2 million square foot plant.. As a side note, I think Batch -> Link is only available in Extreme Revu... but don't quote me on that!

Yes you have to be on the extreme plan - glad it helped though! I love Bluebeam. Although I want to look into Procore

Oh, how I wish we had Extreme. That being said, I was going through a drawing set from an architect which has hyperlinks. I clicked on one to get to a section view, then went back to my original sheet (a floor plan). Now there are no hyperlinks. I don't get how I could have "disabled" them, but... any suggestions? anyone?

Awesome....TY for that. My problem is, I work in a Structural Engineering firm where we look at things like Point Loads or Door Placement through multiple floors. Is there a way to copy a Hyperlink from document to document? In other words, 10th floor pdf to 9th floor pdf , etc., without having to re-create the hyperlink for each floor. Unfortunately, atm, I'm stuck using an ancient version (Ver. 11) of Bluebeam.

Yes if you click shift+H it puts you in hyperlink mode. Make a hyperlink to the page. Then copy it while in hyperlink mode (shift+H) and use Ctrl+c to copy and Ctrl+v to paste on any page!

When I try to batch, it says it skipped all 33 pages of the document. Could it be because the section cuts on the plans are shown like this SG301/01 ? Does the forward slash confuse the batch processing?

It could be 2 things: 1. The page title has to be exact match for it to see it as a match. So if there is a / or any other inconsistency, it won’t recognize. You’ll have to do individual hyperlinks. 2. Sometimes pages are not OCR’d. Meaning that somehow the page got messed up and can’t recognize text. So you have to run an OCR. If pages were skipped it just means that it didn’t find any matches on those pages!

Hello, we have a query: we print a CAD file to PDF and when we want to make the link we can't. You know why?

Check your document -> properties and see if it’s a restricted document. Edit the settings if so. Another thing I see is people don’t have Bluebeam Extreme. You have to have the Extreme version to do batch hyperlinking!

It's not whatever they want to call it. It's what the document is, it's a set of blueprint.
