Blue Town, Sheerness - The Isle of Sheppey - Past & Present 2008
Blue Town, the dockyard end of Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey, is a small compact area which overtime has had a great shipping, naval and military history. Also a residential area with all needs caterered for. Crammed with a full variety of shops, school, barber, undertakers, bakery, laundry, churches, hotel, court house, railway station, pier. The 'present' photos were taken in 2008.

These are beautifully put together and wonderfully presented with seemingly perfect music . I think the pictures make me nostalgic for something called community .

A brilliant video of this historical town. A shame so many of the historical buildings were demolished, but at least you keep the memory alive with your video. Nice to see the school playground with the sycamore tree, which I remember well.
