Think he's trying to sound a little like adam duritz but that's a shame because I LOVE their own style. Their songs seem to always cut to your soul without "oversell melodrama" I'd love to see them LIVE at House of Blues...tour in LA! :D

He sings with the emotions hes feeling. I've never heard him trying to sing like anyone but HIM. This is a more aggressive version.

Listen to his other acoustic versions. Lots of them with less guitar. I love the more aggressive style, personally.

There's no hate in this version, I hope he didn't make amends, usually women spoil the vocalists.
