Blue Mountains, Sydney | Australia

Hey everyone! Welcome back to our Fourth Series! For Episode 12 we ticked off another bucket list activity in Sydney... the Blue Mountains.
We began the day by travelling to Sydney Central Station. We caught the bus to Wynyard Station, before catching the train to Central Station ready for our second train to Katoomba.
Once we arrived at Katoomba we left the train station and jumped on the bus that took us to the Three Sisters visitors centre at Echo Point Lookout where we decided how we were going to spend our day exploring the Blue Mountains.
After speaking to a very helpful lady at the tourist information desk we decided to take the three hour long trail to Leura Falls Cascade via Giants Stairway. The mountainous terrain offered some breathtaking views, this was literally the case as some of the climbs were shear.
Once we arrived at the top of the Cascades we took the Prince Henry Cliff Walk over the top of the Mountains back to Echo Point. We found this to be a much easier trail, taking only around an hour to get back to our starting point, where we sat for a spot of lunch.
Recovered from hours of hiking we decided to finish the day off by taking the trail towards Scenic World and Katoomba Falls. If you love Cockatoos we would definitely recommend as we came across dozens of them all feeding on a picnic area.
This whole day was one of our favourite experiences in Sydney and we would recommend doing it. There are a wide variety of different things to do for people looking for a good hike to those just going to enjoy the view.
Let us know what you think!
