I have seen these images many times on tv....but I just now saw this trilogy images on my Quest 3 Virtual Reality set and was frankly stunned. Congratulations to the studio. I am an avaitor of sorts myself, and was initially drawn to the concept of VR with the hopes of finding ways to experience Hang Gliding without the hassle of driving 5 hours to the site in person and waiting hours for the right wind. However, the complexity of details in that sort of film does not render well on a Quest 3.....I think we are a few years away from flight simulators seeming real. However, the far simpler contrasts of space worked PERFECTLLY. I am quite sure that the experience of actuallyl being there in person would not be all that much visually different than what i just experienced in my home. The black of space was real. The space station was completely real.....and the earth did not look real at all. In fact, the image was so different than what i was expecting, I had to research to make sure this was actual footage and not a studio creation. No wonder the astronauts are all shocked after seeing the earth from space...it really is just a blue marble. Mind officially blown....
