It's always so refreshing when a great player is also a humble and generous human being. I really enjoyed this interview with Blue Lou. Thanks!

This has been a really great interview with an amazing Legend Lou Marini! Get all these great legends while you can because they are going away and not being replaced. Players like them are just not coming up for some reason. +1dabirdman mentioned another legend that just passed, "Donald "Duck" Dunn", another member of the Blues Brothers. Also an amazing studio player like Lou. These guys just walked in, sat down and played man, I mean they played! Thanks for this interview and Lou, if you read this, You are the best. I've been listening to you for years and years. Thank you for all the great tunes and I hope to hear you for many more years to come! Sax On!

This is the Lou Marini I knew at North Texas in the early 60's. Always down to earth, in touch with his music in ways only another musician understands. Thank you for publishing this interview. I found myself smiling, remembering the early years while he, Joe Randazzo, Larry Ford, Jim Sciagiari and others were blowing the doors off the old music building with Leon Breeden at the helm.

@@WyattLite-n-inn Not personally, but I knew who they were and certainly heard the results.

@@WyattLite-n-inn It's been 50+ years and my memory is dimming, but if they were associated with Lou and the gang, I probably knew them or knew of them. Sciagiari and others have gone west along with Leon Breeden. I think Jeter is still hangin' out in Garland, Texas, these days as an independent.
