One of the best bluegrass Gospel tunes ever...

I lost my wife last February. This song has meant a lot to me in the time since her passing. Just saw Blue Highway at The Down Home in Johnson City, TN and they played this song. Absolutely amazing. Had me in tears. I really can't tell you how good this band is. You have to see them.

These men are just amazing.Their harmonies give me goosebumps.And such a beautiful,moving song.The woman who wrote it had a wonderful gift for words.

I've listened to this song on Spotify about a hundred times in the last week and this is the first time I've watched this video. When I tell you, tears immediately jumped to my eyes as soon as they started singing. Amazing.

I sang that after my mom died a few years ago. And when my brother got killed in 16 just after my son-in-law died I tried to sing it but just couldn't finish it. My niece asked me a few months before she died if I'd see her in heaven and I played her this song. It's been a comfort for me through all the deaths that have hit my family over the past few years. "And after all is said and done know that my last earnest prayer, is that my loved ones be ready. Someday to meet me there"

My life has dealt me many losses from my large family and many friends. Music and the Word are a constant comfort. My prayer is for this entire world is to be ready for the day the Lord calls us. Seen them in concert several times (since they were opening for The James King Band) and we recently played this song at the closing of my grandmother's funeral and it was so perfect, it summed up the point needing to be made and spoke to the deep Appalachian culture which permeated her very being
