@@gags730 Instead of showing any sympathy towards the murder victim, the mother excuses her daughter for "only" hitting him with the pipe in the face and stabbing him. That is not killing, according to her because the boyfriend finished him off. So technically it's not killing. Putting a family member on as a character witness is usually a bad idea because the mother takes no accountability for her "angel's" behavior. Their child always loves animals and is a wonderful girl, who just happened to hang out with the wrong crowd.

That’s the first thing I said. I will never understand parents allowing boys to move in or their daughters to move out and in with boys. If my daughter tried moving in with a boy I would hunt her tail down with a belt. This mother is delusional to sit and keep defending this girl after knowing all of the facts and evidence. They both deserve life with no parole. If she can act like a big shot during an interrogation laughing, etc then she definitely proved to everyone that she has no remorse.

But if I see a broken bone or too much bleeding in person, a person or animal in pain or discomfort, or witnessing an elderly person who is passing… it messes me up and I’m emotional or I feel like passing out.. etc. TV and video games cannot be responsible for any human ( especially child ) being THIS desensitized to torturing a disabled man who was trying to help. It’s either within a person to kill or it isn’t. (( imo )) there’s evil .. there’s good. These two were evil and it fed one another’s depravity. The whole point of homeschooling is to give a better education and to keep your child safe. Why would you allow her to be out of your sight? Meet someone, than allow him in your house? There are homeschool groups that you can join and observe her interactions with other children. They have group trips to museums, zoo, parks. Her life would be on another path. At 14yrs old, i do blame the parents as much as the child. Such a sad case. She said she ONLY hit him with a pipe 3 times. She should be in jail. Her Lack of empathy is scary.

She beat and stabbed a disabled man with no remorse then and none now. And he is dead. She deserves to be in prison the rest of her life. Her family’s lack of empathy for the dead man gives some context but doesn’t stop her accountability. By the age of 12 she knew murder was wrong.

Homeschooling produced weird socially awkward kids. Even if you do social groups with other weird awkward home schooled kids. When I was an educator the kids who came to school after previously being homeschooled were the worst. They weren’t used to having their ideas challenged and were tattle tales… 🙄 I’d take a kid from alternative school over a kid that’s never been to school any day

It's disgusting. We have the separation of adults and minors in life and in our legal system for a reason. The science tells us their brains aren't developed and they are impulsive. Yet the prosecution refers to Toby as impulsive.

THE RICHARDSON CASE. SHE got out at 18yrs old and went on to study at university. After reading about that case I believe she planned it and she killed the 9yr old. Her father that was killed was a school friend of mine. The way he died will never leave my mind. These child killers should get punished as adults. Period.

It’s clear the mother couldn’t control the girl, the entire time the mother was making excuses and portrayed the girl as an innocent child. She’s no longer a child. Further the mother acted as if she didn’t know he was older than 17, he looks older than 22 imo. Even so, letting him live there, bad idea, but no background investigation first. Mother also acted like she didn’t know if they were having sex😂. The mother is a big part of the problem here. I hope she feels partially responsible for this man’s death bc she is. This is probably the first time this girl has ever had to pay consequences. I don’t agree with life in prison, I think she may have a chance at rehabilitation. But she must pay a hefty price, she took a life.

This perhaps led to her wanting to leave her life and relocate. The way she behaved during the 2 interviews gives a lot to think about. I feel that there's a lot more to the 'happy, no troble teenager' that her family portrays her to be. And I just could not take her 'I laugh when I'm nervous' excuse. She never spoke of the victim, only herself and her freedom.

So… that’s interesting… Toby was told-off & told to stay away from Morgan (by her mom Gerry) after the revelation of his true age. Yet when he initially lied, and said that he was 16/17-which is still technically OLDER than Morgan-she was okay with them “messing around” in her house? He’s close to 18, even if it was a lie, then what? If Gerry had never found out the truth behind his age lie, and he really were on “the edge of 17”, was she gonna wait til then to kick him out? But until then, oh, no problem, let the kids have their fun; he can stay with us temporarily. Sure. Gerry also says the police wouldn’t help her, and no Amber Alert was announced early enough. Well, you look a bit enabling so, in a sense, they might think you don’t need urgent help.

A really interesting & thought-provoking case Vinnie! Morgan definitely wasn't forced into taking off with Toby & she wasn't forced into committing or taking part in any of the serious crimes! Even when she said that Toby told her to do certain things during the murder, such as put the plastic bag over the poor man's head, she also plainly said that when she said no, she didn't want to do that - she just didn't! He didn't force her to do anything - not by threat & not by violence! In her own words she hit the man in the face with the metal bars she'd grabbed - no mention of being forced there! And listening to her saying that the innocent disabled home-owner who they had just brutally murdered & robbed was just a pervert who deserved what he got - that truly was so heinous, it was shocking! Yes she is/was young but her actions are not those of a sweet little innocent teenage girl - even the hitch-hiker said she was the dominant one of the pair & actually hit Toby a few times! Morgan ran away from home to Toby's place, it was her idea to escape Florida together, it was her idea to case the victim's home & steal money & his car, & it was her who used her innocent young girl looks when she knocked on his door & lied to get inside! She just wanted to get that poor man's car & money so they could flee the state together & she didn't care what they had to do to get it or what they did to the victim! Let's not forget she also left her purposely crushed phone back at Toby's trailer - there was definitely a plan in her head not to be tracked or found, even before the crimes began! And not once did she ask Toby to stop hitting the man or run for help during the murder! Nor did she call 911 on the victim's phone that she had just used earlier when pretending to call her parents! No sympathy sorry!

I find it odd that they cry for her to spend any time away from her life w/mom, yet they don't care that she made sure that she & toby decided that the man they killed would be fine without his life. 🤔 They drove off in his truck, laughing & living it up with his money, & left him dead. No problem. Now she just hopes they will forgive her.....boohoo...eh hem..., (under her breath.....she just hopes she can get out & get on with her life.....after all, no one took her life. She just got a change of address. Her mother brought that 20 something man in her home per request of her 15yr old daughter. I don't care if he looked 16. They were doing the mcwild under her roof. She knew & that was why she kicked him out.
