BLUE DANUBE WALTZ Choreography for Beginner Ballet Dancers | natalie danza
The Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss II is one of the most iconic waltz pieces of all time. I've always loved it and thought it would be a perfect piece to do a ballet choreography to!
I choreographed this for beginner / intermediate ballet dancers in mind. I hope you like it! Please remember to tag me on instagram if you decide to learn it! @nataliedanzaballet

I don’t have any private class spaces available at the moment but you can join the waiting list on my website www.nataliedanza.com if you like ☺️
I love the choreography, the music, the whole idea of this! It looks like something I can do and enjoy and is my style of dance that I am good at. However, I am a little confused as far as the music and choreography. It appears that parts of the music are cut out for this choreography? The sound track/link you provided is the Blue Danube in it's entirety of over 9 minutes. But the choreography only encompasses a few minutes worth? I'm just trying to understand this. I really want to try this! But I am trying to understand how to make the sound track fit with the length of choreography. Thank you!

So sorry, just realized the choreography starts at 8 minutes into the music. How did I miss that!? Learning this now!
I prefer the voice over. Definitely is easier to hear you!

Thank you so much, very beautiful
I LoVe you
I think it would really help if you also ran through some or all of the sections with counting, or saying the steps in time. I think I know what counts each step should be on, but not everyone will be and even when you know I find it harder with orchestra pieces vs just the piano to hear the beats, again there will be a range. If both of these things are a breeze for someone they probably aren't watching this video (unless they are endulging in your gorgeous voice and dancing - really noticing your retire today) :-). This particular waltz doesn't have a strong beat, so you really have to engage with the whole music.

Thanks Anne, it's something I usually do naturally as I would teach a choreo (you'll see me counting in the other videos) but as I did this as a voice over I didn't actually do that when I was talking over. Thanks for pointing it out! I'll include it in future videos! :)
