Nice coffee shot Paul, in regards to the O2, that is absolutely disgusting, the event organisers need to be held accountable and what’s the point of hiring security if they aren’t up for the job. The police need to stop making excuses as well, if people were being killed would they still wait outside….yeah I’ve noticed the town centre is full of degenerates out to annoy everyone (not because of my coffee drinking either haha) in my opinion a new 4K should retail at £15 then bluray at £10 and DVD’s at £5 and combo’s are pointless you only interested in the top quality in the package…nice one mate 👍😀👍

Yeah there’s been a few issues with security at the 02 over the years. Apparently each event is risk assessed so I’m guessing as it was a country gig they didn’t think there would be an issue. You would however think they would have a certain amount of more experienced security guards at all events but apparently not. As for peoples attitudes, I think a lot of people are on the edge and under pressure, with rising living costs and various other socio-political issues snowballing it just takes one small thing to happen for people to see red and do something completely out of character. It’s a sad world we currently live in, support services are becoming less and less available and the number of people that need support is increasing rapidly. Great video with some interesting points as always mate 😊

Yeah the baftas were awful. Will and Kate probably didn't turn up because they heard Rebel Wilson was the host !

Great video as always. I like the 4k and blu ray combi pack as I let my mother and auntie borrow the blu ray on new releases as they are never going to own 4k players and can't always come to mine to watch. I see that there's already some fairly new 4k titles in hmv 2 for £30 offer. The Kings Men, Venom, Resident Evil and Eternals to name a few. Great pick ups, 😁👍

A great blu ray hunting video as usual and you were very lucky getting them stickers off that Only Fools and Horses boxset as I've had bad experiences with them not peeling off properly but I think that Shooter 4k should be cheaper without the blu ray definitely

I don’t have a 4K Player yet but there will be times where I buy the 4K (as long as it comes with a Blu Ray as well) if I like the 4K cover better or if there’s a steelbook release I like.

I do the same thing

Personally 20 quid for a 4k is to much, 15 quid for a standard 4k and 12 quid for a standard blu ray and then I may pick up more 4k, studio releases are to much in general and I think a 4k should just be a 4k, blu-ray double play was another one that pissed me off as you had to pay more when I didn't want the dvd. The difficulty I've been having with removing cex stickers recently is beyond a joke, furniture polish does the trick on the residue for sure.

So. I held off on saying anything just to see the long term affects. But I’ve had the same issue with those “save and trade” CEX stickers. Polish and deodorant works like a charm. I waited to see if it affected the paint. But no. Took off the sticker and steelbook in mint condition.

Forget about the snacks series bring back poundland bin. Also what you said about the police is not true ive been to o2 last year for wwe punch up happened and the police showed up. Though there is two parts to the o2 the arena and and steeet inside.

Poundland Bin will be back. I don’t know what happened but AEG issued a statement saying the police couldn’t intervene and enter the arena as their presence wasn’t requested through official means it was mainly from fans inside the arena phoning 999. There’s was horrific violence happening inside the arena but they still didn’t want ntervene

Probably the reason for the clear plastic bags is it’s cheaper to produce clear plastic and not have to put dyes in it to make the bag !!! it’s a way of getting people to take their own bags out with them when shopping either advertise what you bought or bring your own bag .

Great Video Paul i think the Blu-Ray + 4K UHD combo should be priced at £25 because making both formats £12.50 each. I don't like the HMV clear bags i miss the old ones with recent releases on them or even the logo

Probably no point doing Poundland since I'm almost certain their contract has now expired with musicmagpie and essentially clearing out the leftover warehouse stock.

Looks like Paramount are the first studio to start removing the blu ray from its 4K titles. The brand new Scream coming out doesn’t come with a blu ray unless you buy the steelbook. Which is fine as the extras are on the 4K unlike some other studios but why is Scream still £25? upcoming release of Infinite is 4K disc only too.

My local British heart foundation sells blu ray and dvd for 50p

Sony pushed the digital version forward to tomorrow for Spiderman. I think it is to counter the leaked Bluray version that has been placed on torrent sites.

Its a nice thing to have the blu ray, but most of the time, they won't ever get watched unless the 4k transfer is naff. I miss digital codes 😢 I have never seen Shooter but heard good things, so I will pick it up when it's closer to a tenner.

As long as all the extras are on the 4K disc then that’s ok but they very rarely do that. I have always thought it bad that they put the Blu-ray in them but that’s where the extras are or even in some cases extended versions of the film. I still think 4K is overrated as I think if you have a good setup calibrated correctly then the Blu-ray is excellent so then it’s not worth paying £25 for 4K. I can honestly say (and I have seen many on various equipment) I’ve never really been blown away by 4K. 4K is massively overpriced too so I really don’t buy that many. Selling the 4K disc separately is a good idea if you already own the Blu-ray (which most fans will have) so your not double dipping but at that price it’s just not worth it for me.

Some 4k are a significant improvement over the Blu-ray, such as The Revenant, Avengers and BR2049. Then you get 4k’s which are inferior to the Blu-ray including T2. The jump in quality from DVD to Blu-ray isn’t anywhere near the same jump going from Blu-ray to 4k. I’ve always watched a few Blu-rays where the image quality was so good I thought I was watching a 4k. One of the main reasons I like 4k is the addition of Atmos audio where as the Blu-ray normally sticks to the DTS5.1. Also the 4k discs are big enough they should be able to put the extras and a Blu-ray version of the film all on the 4k disc.

@@BigPauly I do agree on the Atmos mix but as I say I’ve never been blown away by 4K. Some films are an improvement but are usually altered in some way from the original theatrical experience. Yes 4K discs are 100GB + and do have loads of space for extras but they very rarely put all or any extras on it’s usually just an audio commentary track. The price or them is too high and for the few differences between Blu-ray and 4K it’s just not worth it. If they carry on the trend of not including the Blu-ray the price should come down but you just know they won’t as they would also have to lower the Blu-ray and DVD prices too.

I can't believe CEX have changed the glue on those round stickers! haha. I reckon it came off more easily because that's quite a new release so hasn't been on the shelf that long. I think those round stickers get more troublesome the longer they're left on the packaging... the glue gets worse over time somehow! ha
