It probably will sadly. They said they’ve been planning this since they started development, and when you think about that, it makes sense, the backpack tool, the two revamped buildings in the town and this new update where all the furniture is cheap. They also said there will be a catalog where you can buy houses so there goes the creativity part, and when you look at what happened with erlc, when it was paid access it was a great game, free to play brought bots and noobs, etc.

Why does every game I play always make bad decisions? bloxburg was just fine being paid... I have a feeling that it's not because of bloxburg's nearing completion. Their reason might be that the player count is decreasing... it might be because the updates have been... um, not sufficient to keep people playing. Like the most recent one.

The updates have only gotten better in quality, its now due to the lack of community within the game, all servers are dead in the chat and people who play are only ever 1. building for hours on end or 2. joining for like 10 minutes to see the new updates

For anyone worried, and are willing to read this, Bloxburg is definitely not going to become brookhaven. Brookhaven is all about the roleplaying rather than game mechanics, while bloxburg is more like the sims (in a sense of building, working, etc etc). We already have prebuilt houses too, they just haven't been updated. If the prebuilt houses do go free then it'll probably be better for new players anyways because once you begin the game you really don't have any money, so the other prebuilt houses are useless. If you don't want random kids on your plot, then you can block everyone in the server (That is an option, you know!) The nice thing about bloxburg is that it's one of a kind. There can be copies of the game, but there will never be another game like it. Online daters and trolls are more taken care of now adays within the roblox management. There is no voice chat either, so you don't have to worry about being screamed at by 5 year olds. When it comes to games, younger children aren't going to go to bloxburg immediately. I'm sure everything will be fine (plus, beta players get perks)

yes, but the respect that the bloxburg community have for other players will be gone. and we will have people trying to break into our houses, servers will be flooded, chats will be full of not good stuff and the game will just be an overall mess. with it becoming free, the tendency is that there will be a lot of absurd game passes and lambos being released

Respect won't be a problem, within the management and people, I can tell you that right now and be 100% positive about it. Why is the bloxburg community so elitist? The double standards are insane. People complain about the game being dead, and bloxburg has a solution that will bring hundreds of thousands if not millions more to the game, and people aren’t happy about it? Not every person who spends real money on a digital currency is a troller or a hacker. You’re all acting as if there weren’t already exploiters and people trying to break into your house before hand. At this point, just say you hate poor people. Also, expecting some kind of “gift” because you spent $0.31 / 25p on a game is also insane. People need to be more mature about this. Personally I’m really excited as not everyone has the opportunity to spend money on a game currency, so the more accessible, the better.

When I was younger I wanted to play Bloxburg so bad and I could not play because my mom did not have a dollar to spare on a "game". Bloxburg is not going to become noisy there are only 12 people per server and everyone is over-exaggerating. If I was still that little kid who didn't have Bloxburg I would be ecstatic to hear this. I think making it more accessible will provide a lot of people with joy and bring the limits of Bloxburg to new heights. Most of these cheats have stopped and are usually banned I have never seen bloxburg get hacked and I have been playing since 2018 so you don’t need to worry!!🩷

Bloxburg has always been in beta, and betas were destined to be free at some point, the paid version is only for beta testers/early access so that people can give feedback about the game, you paid for the early access you got the early access

Oh god please give the og players some sort of reward like a trophy some blockbux and money

I'm actually glad its going free I wouldn't mind seeing a new group of players coming in because the game needs some new life. Even if its going to be a bunch of young kids joining it'll be fun to kinda mess with them a little bit.

A suggestion for when adding the tutorial: It would be good if the tutorial wouldn't only be displayed when joining bloxburg the first time. Maybe make it possible that you can do it again, whenever you like - so that when people don't know what to do they can always look back into it! :D

I hope that when it becomes free the players evolve like in Warrior Cats Ultimate Edition- When that game became free there were lots of “Luna’s” aka “drowns but my powers save me” kind of players. But over time, the players became more advanced- better, to where there are hardly any “Luna’s” anymore. And knowing the kids in brookhaven, they would probably give up when they find out they *have* to work.

Is there any way to make like a code or something where the game doesn't take up your device memory, or is it possible to make one or what? Cause that would be critical for bigger builds

1. Go in a neighborhood if you don't what ppl to bug you 2. I didn't like the idea of it being free but now I'm happy because my best friend can play with me now!! 3.u can help the new ppl and I think if its free we will have more likes and ppl playing the game is a really good thing!!!!💗💐🌺🌸

they should def add server options for those who bought the game to be in a server together! then ppl can join those servers if they’re nervous about seeing the new players. (they should so add servers for builders, role players,etc)

I like the idea. The servers are boring, most people only join to build and leave as soon as they are done with their house.

For every person saying this is the worst update in bloxburg history: 1- You payed for EARLY ACCESS to the game so dont say you payed for nothing. 2- Having more people in the game can actually be more fun (most of the servers are dead😑). 3-The most important thing: This game was supposed to be free since the beggining. People payed to play in BETA. Now that its finished they can finally open the game so more people can play it. 4- Just because its finished doesnt mean it wont get more updates.

You guys should add net worths, it’s a combination of how much money all your plots are worth so you can flex that

You’ll get a reward for paying.. plus it wasn’t even expensive and everyone knows that when you buy it, you’re only getting early access so that doesn’t even mean you should get a refund or reward but the devs are being nice. Bloxburg won’t even change that much so idk why everyone is throwing tantrums.

a thing bloxburg is different from games such as brookhaven, adopt me, and mm2 is that the community is warm and welcoming. The requirement of paying 25 robux is kind of a shield that prevent any kids, hackers, and trollers to ruin the game. If they make the game free then there will be no protection and attracting people from other toxic communities, making the game very unkind and unfriendly to those who want to play normally. pretty much bloxburg is getting ruined. They are turning this warm community into cold, there is nothing I can do about it but to witness this game falling into the world of darkness

as someone whos been playing since 2017, im hyped, one of my favorite things to do is see new players just wondering around and asking questions. reminds me of when i was new.

it would be an awesome update if the dev team could make a reak estate building or smt where players could create their own houses and publish them at a desired price and when someone buys the house, the publisher gets 1/4 of the money the buyer payed

In my opinion, I believe they should add separate servers after they make the game free on the main menu, Like standard servers, And a server that costs an additional one time payment of 25 Robux to enter or its free if you already paid for bloxburg. Also unrelated but a feature I've wanted for so long is for players to be able to copy something from one plot and paste onto another that would be life changing

They should add an attic gamepass just like the same as the basement except the ability to explore your attic and decorate it into a gaming room, bedroom, etc. Also with a attic door that goes on the ceiling that when opened, the door comes down then the ladder after. Also the ability to open windows and have windows with screens that you can also open. Lastly, I would love to see a working alarm system.

If Bloxburg becomes free, I predict we’ll see rich Bloxburg accounts transfer money to new accounts. In my opinion, this is unfair to everyone, because you’re going to see brand new accounts with a nicer house and car than those who are working for money.
