Said a few things the wrong way around as usual particularly with the insanence on the compressor sod opposite toward I said and other things also always saying Inlet when it’s exhaust and vice a versa my mouth moves faster than my brain can work things out Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah
Air goes in the center part where the impeller is an comes out compressed directly up to the intercooler which is why some people call it the compressor side I was trying to avoid exact terminology keep it simple stupid but still stuffed it up ha ha Ha talking to the phone I probably still got it wrong right here

And thank you for the description note :) After watching your videos, I wish you could do a world tour to save prados out there :) I have a 2004 Prado GX 1KD 3.0D4D (Europe, LHD), with 176k km on the clock. I was driving yesterday and noticed a loss of power with the engine lights on and VSC/TRC and VSC/OFF lights on, the car was going in limp mode. I took it to my mech right away and we got P0045 error code. We cleaned the air filter, and the lights have gone and the car is driving normal, but I am still worried this issue to arise again. Should I change the Turbo along side changing the turbo oil feed return pipe as well? I can see there is a leak coming from it and going down in turbo area. Someone told me he had the same issue and he changed the suction control valve SCV. I am not a mechano just an amateur car lover and I am quiet confused with which way to go, especially cost wise but I am ready to take care of the car. And big thank you to the video about MAP filter, I have definitely to change mine, has some oil stains on it and never been changed but I will asap. Keep it up with your great and very informative videos, hoping hearing from you.
What do you think that would cause this turbo to fail? I have been told if you have good oil and coolant supply the turbo shouldn't fail. Unless there is foreign object. But this one has a broke exhause turbine. Could be just bad quality turbo?
Hi 4×4 i have a question for you its a past video for but for me its now here is my question its a toyota grand hiace no fault code but my egr cooler vaccum side is stuck closed its hard to opperate by hand engine lucks power please help?
Haw much for new turbo I have 2012 hilux 3.0 1kd 4x4 125klm it's making siren sound on take off after 6oklm there is no more sound what do you think thanks
Anthony, do you think a throttle controller can cause the turbo to fail, my son fitted a controller a couple of months ago and is now having smoking problems with a noisier turbo , thoughts?

What "spray" did you put on that plug to help take off ? Having troubles with the SCV plug which I purchased the long one a little while back off you mate

I legit had the actuator motor replaced on my 1kd 150 Kak, and has been going strong for 60,000
Friends prado has blown 2 turbos..
Mite want to get ya air in and out right, lol 😆 😂
