Yes sir,a real c10! One after my own heart. I watched show cars being built and was thinking about how I could never be that!! Show,expensive,or seating in a garage. My cars had to be used. To the point when I would buy a car or truck it earned its keep. Which is funny how my truck was my first fast bad ass. A clutch,showing off and hauling off my neighbors trash and getting paid for it. Mom said now times it by 10 because I know 9 more people that want you to stop bye and get there’s too!!! Old parts were cheap and bolt right on. I was hooked,so they ain’t perfect but they are!!! If I can’t ride my family around I don’t want it!!! Love your videos you cover everything. Good stuff

Never heard of the golf ball trick before. Huge props to the first person that thought of that.👍 Though I do wonder how long it takes for the golf ball to wear down while rolling around in a steel tube and not have enough mass to balance the the shaft anymore. Still a great idea, just wonder how many miles it would last. I’ve used balancing beads in tires and it’s the same concept and it worked well too.

Crazy! Never heard of a golf ball in a driveshaft. And who would move motor mounts and the motor instead of getting a custom length shaft expedited? That’s another level of hillbilly 😂

This is like one of the ultimate “budget builds” ever.. super sick man🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥 ( dixxon ftw✅ ) and by budget I’m saying like hand built not using a shop to build it or biggest name brand parts etc.. no disrespect to either options. Everyone has preference, mine is I could care less a badass ride is a badass ride regardless of how it gets done.

Another great video. I love the truck. Just a great build. You all deserve all the subs. I've been here for awhile and will continue to be here. Looking forward to seeing more cool builds.

It's a super cool truck. I'm going to have to be "that guy" on the open diff though. It seems a major waste to put that much engine on one wheel. I have a '78 C10 stepside myself, but mine has a Currie 9" w/35 spline axles, 4.11 gear, and Truetrac locker. I'm running a naturally aspirated 632 big block. Pro tip: spinnin ain't winnin.

under driven not over, Over driven the blower pulley is smaller and makes more boost. But who gives a shit, that is Fawking badass !! That golfball is a great old school trick, Love this build !!

He could easily make more power but he built it to drive and drives it all the time which I love! And the golfball…awesome!

9,5 kompression with boost shouldnt be a problem if you get air/fuel right, pistons usually break because of a lean tune or to much timing making it ping/knock cool car regardless

I always try to understand why people waste time and moneey to have them dragging on the floor. Can someone explain what's the fun of it? Never understood..

Actually, the golf ball trick isn't something new but an old school trick. If the driveshaft isn't out of whack but just needs a little balance weight or 2 or 3 then the old guys knew how to keep it simple. I must think about what I just said because the hot rodders & engineer guru types that I looked up to because they could make just about anything are still the old guys, the ones that are still alive but hellfire man it doesn't feel right referring to them as the old guys because I'm racing to 70 myself & like the voice of wisdom told us that the years would really start going by quick as we got older & I'm here to be a witness for, gulp😳, the old guys but ya know what, I could trust them when they told me anything, unless they were joking because they honestly knew their 💩. Yeah I didn't blink when he said he put a golf ball in the driveshaft for a centrifical ballast.

If that wagon ever hooks up, that 8 1/4 rear-end will fail....miserably if has any torque. 700r4 cast iron? Never heard of one of those beasts. I had a vehicle like this, it was a mail jeep and I hated it.
